Though I was beginning to get used to be dragged around by him I would not have it. I tried to halt but still feeling sick I did not have enough power. I could tell that he was more annoyed than ever because of the hard grip he had around my wrist.
"Dwight, let me go. You must stop doing this." I would have raised my voice if I didn't feel nauseous. We kept going until we reached a secluded area and he practically threw me against the wall.
"What the hell was that?" He shouted as he closed up on me.
"What was what?" I stuttered when the space between us vanished. I averted my gaze.
"You can't stand the sight of blood, not even it's smell?" He sounded furious. Why, I could not comprehend. He pulled back enraged and slid his hand through his hair. Knots appeared in my stomach. One should not be this goodlooking whilst angry. I tried to compose myself my by clearing my throat and maintaining a steady stare.
"So what?" I replied. My attempt to sound as well as look confident diminished with every passing second. His gaze locked with mine and a shiver went down my spine. His high cheekbones had never been so defined before as he was clenching his jaw.
"You thought you could just waltz in here expecting everything to go your way? When you have a fear of blood?" He almost shouted at me. I swallowed but I did not dare to avert my gaze. Dwight let out a loud and annoyed sigh as he turned away from me. My gaze now laid upon his broad back.
"Then what should I have done?" I asked annoyed.
"Oh, I don't know. Perhaps talk to Elenor or the headmaster? Do you really think they would have placed you in a school where blood is a huge part of our daily lives if they knew you could not manage?" He gave me a long explanation while crossing his arms over his chest.
"I'll manage." I muttered and my gaze unconsciously fell to the floor. It became quiet and I unwillingly lifted my gaze only to meet with Dwight's angry stare.
"I don't think you will." He said sternly.
"What other options do I have then?" I said replacing my shaken state once again with annoyence.
"Did you lie on the form?" He suddenly asked making me frown.
"What form?" I asked taken aback. He groaned.
"He vampire high transfer form for humans. The one you fill in before coming here!" He almost shouted at this moment. Being incited by his shouting I replied in the same manner.
"I didn't get any form to fill in!" My arms flew up in the air by reflex in desperation.
"What do you mean you didn't get any form?" He said accusingly.
"I mean what I said." I habitually rolled my eyes to which enraged Dwight even more. I could see his anger reflect in his eyes. He remained silent but kept his stare.
"I don't really understand your problem though." I said shrugging slightly.
"My problem? This means I have to spend even more time with you." He spat. Being taken aback by a a comment like that from Dwight should not surprise me but it stung either way. Am I really that horrible of a person?
"If you dislike being with me so much, why don't plead some more to the headmaster and make Joshua my teacher?" I said, sounding more confident than I were. "
"Can't do that." He replied qucikly.
"Why not?"
"Because I am not someone who can freely walk around in the sun and I would like that." He replied in a matter of fact way. Oh, he can't go against the headmaster because he needs blood from the red orb. A few seconds passed before I answered.
"I get it now. You're jealous." I said, once again, sounding confident. However my remark made Dwight appear quite bewildered.
"Of what?" he said, frowning.
"Of humans." I replied sounded over-confident. He snorted.
"Like I would ever be jealous of humans. Those filthy creatures." He spat. As offended as I was I bit my tongue.
"Either way," he began after a few seconds of us glaring at each other.
"make sure you receieve that form and fill it." he demanded to which I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever floats your boat." I muttered.
"It won't. You're in it, sugar." He said and disappeared in a second. That wasn't fair. How would I be able to make a come back if he just vanishes? Just you wait Dwight, I will get you back.
