"Quinn," I heard someone repeat my name. I grunted as I slowly came to my senses.
"Good, you are awake." Elenor said when I saw her through my blurry vision.
"We have arrived." she then said and made me sit straight up and look outside the window. In front of me was a huge castle. It was both tall and wide. I heard Elenor laugh an turned to face her.
"Close your mouth, you are not a dog" she said and laughed once again and I quickly closed my mouth.
"Let's go" Elenor said and turned around. I was about to open the door but Isaac was faster. I exited the car giving Isaac a smile as a thanks. Before we could reach the castle we had to walk over a bridge because around the castle was a moat. When we were reaching the gates I felt how my palms were getting sweaty and how I began to feel nervous. We reached the huge gates but we didn't go through them but through a smaller hidden door within the gates. We reached a paved ground with five tables set around the ground. We headed straight forward through another pair of gates. We went up a few stairs turned right then left then right again or to be honest I don't really remember. We took more turns than I can count. I followed Elenor and Isaac and examined my surroundings, paintings and closed doors. Same pattern followed as we reached a pair of slightly bigger doors than the others within the castle.
"This is the headmasters office." Elenor explained before knocking the door.
"This is the school right?" I asked, grimacing.
"Yes." Elenor answered simply.
"Then where are all the students?" I asked confused.
"It's still early in the morning, the classes don't begin until nine o'clock on Tuesdays." Elenor said.
"But, Don't vampires have classes at night?" I asked confused and apparently that was very funny because Elenor began laughing.
"What's so funny?" I said annoyed.
"Please forgive me. It's just that humans don't know all our so called "secrets" about vampires." she said and apologized.
"Does this mean vampires are okay in sunlight?" I asked confused but before Elenor could answer the door before us opened and in front of us was a small, tanned woman in gray business alike clothes. She had almost white hair which was placed at the top of her hair in a neat bun.
"Mr. Vonner is able to see you know" she said and made a slight bow.
"Good." Elenor said and went through the door and past the woman. Isaac waited for me to follow and then he went in after me. We entered a room which was very cozy, to the left there was an open fire and there were laying blankets and pillows on the floor and in a pair of armchairs and a sofa. To the right was a table with six chairs around it. The walls were decorated with paintings of different persons in golden colored frames.
"This way, Quinn." Elenor said and turned right and headed towards a door past the table. Elenor knocked and said that she was entering.
"Come in." was the answer she got. Elenor turned towards me and smiled and then she opened the door. I realized how nervous I was when I felt how my legs almost gave in as I followed Elenor inside. We found ourselves in a office it seemed like. It gave me a feeling of an "old" office. Something that really caught my eye was a huge painting with the alphabet on. Why did the headmaster have a painting like that? Was he a kindergarden teacher before?
"Mr. Vonner." Elenor said and my gaze turned towards a big window where a tall slender figure was seen.
"You are here." the figure said and I guessed he was the headmaster. He turned around and showed his beautiful face. He was absolutely stunning. He had a small face and small catlike eyes yet they were so visible. He had long hair that was slicked back and it somehow made him look like a really hot butler since he was also wearing a suit. He looked even younger than Isaac but that could be because Isaac had a small bristle.
"You must be Quinn Dale," the headmaster said and turned towards me and smiled. I was totally stunned by his appearances so I only managed a slight nod.
"Or should I say Quinn Darknight?" He said and made a small chuckle.
I just stared at him in confusion, not knowing how to react.
"You probably already guessed who I am. I am Aleister Vonner, the headmaster of this vampire school." he explained and he looked like a "real" vampire to me. Whatever the difference was between him and Elenor and Isaac was I did not know what Aleister did to be so ""I am glad that you decided to come." Aleister said and smiled gently.
"Yes." I forced out.
"Though What did you mean about Darknight? My name is Dale" I went on confused.
"Yes, but your fathers name was Darknight." Mr. Vonner explained.
"Really?" I said and tried to hide the excitement I had from knowing something about my father.
"But Miss Dale," Mr. Vonner said and gained my attention once again.
"I would like you I keep your last name a secret." he said and stared a me with a serious expression.
"Why?" I asked, tilting my head.
"Since your father was an honored vampire and there are few who knows about him breaking the law." Mr. Vonner explained. After a few seconds of progressing what I've just been told I answered.
"I understand. " I said and smiled.
"Good," he said and returned my smile.
"Excuse me sir." Isaac said and we all turned towards him.
"I think I should go to my office, the kids are sometimes very early." Isaac said and made a slight bow.
"Yes, of course" Mr. Vonner said and and nodded. Isaac gave me a smile before he turned around and left the room.
"Miss Dale?" Mr. Vonner announced my name and my gaze went from Isaac to
"Might you know what your father looks like?" He asked a bit insecure.
"I do, actually." I said and smiled widely.
"That's great" he said and gave me a gentle smile.
