The great king Coext sat in his white chamber musing on the day’s thoughts. His loving wife as always sat by his side doing what she does best knitting a new tabard.

With a heavy sigh the old king began to speak. “Dear I really am at a loss,”

Without ever taking her old dull eyes off the knitting needle she responded. “How so dear?”

“It’s Espex dear, I try as I might but the slick mage seems to always be in front of me. Always seems to be there mocking me and my dream of world peace.”

“Oh my love, I know it hurts that’s why I have stepped in.”

Coext spun round with shock in his bearded old face. “Oh?”

“Yes I have sent the three brothers to collect him.”

“What!” The king’s voice boomed around the great white chamber.

“Calm down dear, I have them under control. I have used them multiple times during this long war with the mage.”

Shock still in the face of Coext he responded. “Why is this first I know of this?”

“A girl needs to have her secrets after all,” a giggled followed as she spoke the words.

“I suppose so, I suppose so.” He said as he finally sat back down on his gleaming white stoned chair.

“I wouldn’t have sent them if they weren’t confidant.”

“No I suppose not, I am sorry.”

“That’s alright but to calm you down I shall tell you their feats of strength. The youngest Kyle has fought toe to toe with Haya, Daniel the middle has fought Amun, even capturing him for a while, and finally the oldest simply known as Junior has fought Espex before, surviving his demon form though at a cost. Each capable probably able to go evenly with your white knight generals. Thy have already captured or killed more than twenty titled mage. The brothers are basically my secret service.”

Both the king and the queen smirked before laughing hysterically.

Knee deep in thick, white snow the brothers three looked down on a morning light village.

“So this is it eh? The village of Asura?” Daniel asked.

“Yeah it is, kind of bland aint it?” Kyle responded.

“Shut up you two, we are here for a mission not a sight sees.” Junior barked. His missing scarred face glared at his brothers. His face mauled by Espex in their last meeting.

Each brother shared bright red hair and blue eyes. Juniors face was scarred heavily on the left side with a missing eye, all thanks to Espex and his demon form. Daniel was the shortest but not the youngest, but each part of his body was a wall of muscle he was one of the most physically powerful in Skov, while Kyle was one of the fastest without the aid of magic. Junior was a mix of both but his true skill was his brain, able to think fast and destroy an opponent’s rhythm and make them move how he wants, he was truly a battle expert.

“This is how it will plan out you two.” Junior said before continuing “Kyle will run into Espex and disarm him while getting in cheap hits with his speed, Daniel will use this chance to jump in and break or stop Espex transformation, while this happens I will cast the binding spell to capture the beast and complete our mission.”

“What if it goes wrong?” Kyle asked.

“Then we simply do what we do best” Junior replied with a grin.

“Kill him then?” asked Daniel

With a bigger more sinister smirk Junior replied. “Yep.”
