Thank You For Saving Me // Stauren

chapter six

Steven's P.O.V
"And CUT!" The director yelled. Me and Lauren were kissing for a scene, but I didn't want it to stop. Then Lauren pulled away.

"You know he said cut right?" She said with a laugh.

"Oh, I didn't hear" I sarcastically replied which made her laugh. God I really love her laugh, it's so beautiful.
As she started to walk off I ran to catch back up with her, the set was full and had no privacy. I had to speak to her alone.

"Hey, Laur? When you're done for the day wanna come back to mine and watch a movie or something?" Anyone could have heard so I couldn't say to 'talk about something important' I'd never hear the end of it.

"Well I'm done now so umm, yeah sure, why not?" She smiled. Another thing I loved. Her smile.

"Same here, I'll grab my stuff and I'll meet you outside, ok?"

"Sure" she replied in her happy tone.

Lauren's P.O.V
"Hey Laur!" I turned around to see Emily bolting at me.

"Woah! Em calm down!"

"Come here!" Before I knew it I was dragged over into one of the makeup rooms. It was empty so we could talk.
"I just realised something!" She was so excited for some unknown reason

"What?" I asked confused.

"You need to kiss Steven!" What is up with her today?

"What?! No!"

"Come on! You told me earlier in the car you 'wasn't sure how you felt about him' but after watching you two on set and around each other, you gotta feel somthing!"

"Em, I'm not too sure abo--" Classic Emily cuts me off.

"Listen sweetheart--" oh nope!

"Don't call me sweetheart" I said under my breath but loud enough for her to hear.

"You gotta kiss him. You. Not him"

"Yeah I get it but--"

"Because then you'll understand that you love him." After those words I let it out.

"God Em I know I love him!!" All anger made me realise for some reason I can't explain
She stood there for a minute with her jaw dropped.

"Eeeeeeeeee!" Then started jumping up and down and clapping her hands

"Yes, ok ok stop now" I was smiling, I couldn't keep the grin off my face. I loved him. I told myself I loved him. Well I guess you only live once, might as well tell someone you love them.

Steven's P.O.V
What was taking her so long. I was waiting outside like I said I would. Then she walked out. All the frustration of her taking forever, gone.

"Hey uh, sorry I was awhile Emily kept talking." She had a wide smile on her face while talking.

"No it's ok, let's just go." With that, we jumped in the car and drove down the road.

After about half way through I started to get a little tense. She wasn't talking. Lauren's usually a chatter box but not today.

"Hey, you ok?" I asked concerned.

"Hmm? What? Oh yeah, yeah, I'm good, I'm fine, I'm ok." She answered the most awkward answer I have ever heard her say. She seemed distant, like something was on her mind.

"You sure?" I asked again just in case.

"Yeah, I'm sure." Still not a secure answer.
We arrived in complete silence.
As we walked in she walked over to where I kept the DVDs and started looking through.

"What about... Insidious?"

"Wait, You have that?" She hated horror films

"Well, not really, Norman left it here ages ago I just forgot about it." But I loved them.

"Can we watch something a bit more, anti-scary?" She asked, I laughed but nodded.

"What about, Oh my god! You have crybaby!!" I thought for a moment, someone gave her a puppy because of her excitement.

"I do? Oh yeah, I haven't seen it in a while though." To be honest I didn't really mind what it was just as long as Lauren was okay with it.

"We're watching that." She set it up and we started watching it in complete silence.
"Steve?" All of a sudden she starts to talk.

"Huh? Yeah?" But why? She's the one who wanted to watch this film.

"You know yesterday, when we got drunk and... You know..."

"Yeah?" I asked confused of why she had to bring up my embarrassment.

"Did you mean it or were you just super drunk?" No turning back now.

"I uhh... I meant it." Just as I said them words I feel a crash to my lips. Before I closed my eyes I could see Lauren, face to face with her lips pressed against mine.

Lauren's P.O.V
I couldn't hold back any longer I had to kiss him. Convince myself more that I'm head over heals over him. He pulled away a few seconds after, smiled then continued again. I loved it. I loved him. It was quiet till he pulled away again and asked a question.

"So... Now what?"
