Steven's P.O.V
"Lauren c'mon we're gonna be late!" I shouted upstairs for the fifth time that cold morning."I'm going as fast as I can dumbass!" She shouted back, a small chuckle escaping her lips as she does so, making it an obvious joke.
I chuckled to myself, waiting by the door. I soon saw Lauren, slowly making her way down the stairs with her hand on the six month baby bump. "You good?" I spoke, slowly walking to her.
Even for twins, she wasn't even that big; honestly, it was worrying in my eyes, but Lauren said it was nothing and we still had three months to go. I placed my warm hand on the small of her back as she nodded, soon pecking my cheek. I smiled at the cute gesture, opening the door for her.
"You know, my arms and hands work perfectly fine." She chuckled softly, making a smile creep onto my face as I continued to try and be the most helpful boyfriend I could to her.
"Yes they do, but I'm looking after you. And no matter how many times you say I don't need to because you're "perfectly fine", I'm still going to help." I said with a cheeky grin, making Lauren push me lightly yet playfully as we walked out to the car.

Once on set, Lauren went over to Alanna and Kish as I went to Andrew and Norman. We were all talking about something random and every five minutes or so, not intentionally changing to another random topic.
Soon most of the cast was called on set, leaving me alone. Since there was nothing to do, I decided to go to Lauren's trailer and wait for her there. I found myself looking around at what she had in the trailer and mostly found pictures. They were of basically all the cast but not always together, until I found one. It was of me and Lauren, back in 2011 when we were filming season two. I smiled at the memory and put them back not long after. Once again, I was looking around trying to entertain myself making me stumble upon a book. I open it at a random page and as soon as I see Jay's name, I close it realising it was her diary. I didn't know that she wrote it all down, I guess sometimes you need to when big things happen.
When I hear someone talking and coming closer, I put the book back where I found it. Soon, Emily stepped in and greeted me with a smile.
"Oh hi! What are you doing here?" She said in her usual happy tone and smile.
"Uh... waiting for Lauren to finish, of course..." I replied, trying to sound somewhat confident in my answer.
"You sure about that?" She chuckled, obviously hearing the unsureness in my voice.
"Yeah... can I ask you something?" I spoke with hesitation, not knowing if this was the right idea.
"You just did." She joked, before carrying on. "Well, I need to ask you something first. There's a party for one of my friends and she said that it'd be so cool if I invited all of you guys. So, I said I'll try my best." She chirped, her smile not fading.
"Well, I'll go if I'm not busy. Lauren, I'm not too sure about, since, ya know, she can't drink. But it's worth a shot." I smiled back. "SO about my question--" As if on cue, Lauren strolled in and smiled at the sight of Emily, the both engaging in a hug.
After around five minutes, Emily turned back to me, "sorry Steve.. you wanted to ask me something?"
"Uh no.. it's fine. It doesn't matter anymore..." I faked a smile while her and Lauren went back to talking.
~
After around an hour more of talking and filming, it was finally time to go home.
The drive home was full of laughter and music as me and Lauren held hands the majority of the way, only retracting my hand to change gear or steer the wheel at certain points, not needing it for anything else.
As soon as I stepped into the, once full and bright, apartment, it seemed dull since the couch was gone along with the table, and everything was in boxes.
Lauren stepped in behind me and leaned on my shoulder before mumbling, "Not long now."
I smiled and turned to hug her. "You know, it's not that late... we could put some of these boxes into the car now, it saves time tomorrow, so we can unpack as soon as." She continued.
"Okay... Well, I'll do it and you can go get a shower, because there's walker blood in your ear." I chuckled, which also made her giggle.
"There's walker blood everywhere, babe." She replied with a cocky attitude, but it was in fact true. You'd think she was a murderer. I pecked her cheek before she, happily, made her way to the shower.
I packed the car the best that I could before walking back in and making my way up the stairs. As I made my way to the bedroom, I heard light hums from the bathroom, making me smile. Soon the shower stopped running, making me move quickly to the bedroom so it didn't seem weird that I was listening to her.
I walked into our almost empty bedroom, before falling back onto the bed. All I could do is think about that book and what was in it.
Is it just about her nightmares?
Her bad past?
Am I in there?
All these thoughts rushed through my mind, making me wide awake and sleep wasn't something important to me at that moment.
