Andie's POV

After working, I immediately headed to my house. I was so tired, the cold weather made me more tired. It was freaking snowing outside which is why I decided to stay in my room. When I opened my phone, I saw a lot of messages coming, most from my mom.

"Laurette where are you? I've been calling you since forever but you aren't answering your phone."
"Mom is getting worried now, please call me."
"Did you have lunch? Come home, I cooked something for you?"

"Weird, why would she cook for me?" I asked myself. Patuloy kong binasa ang mga messages ni Mama sa akin, at doon ko nga nalaman ang rason kung bakit siya nagluto para sa akin!

"I arranged a blind date for you so you better call me now. Or else, I will tell the media you're engaged. You wouldn't want that, would you?

"What!?" I yelled. Muntik ko nang mahulog yung phone ko nung nabasa ko yung text niya.

"Date? I-Im engaged!? MA!"

Seriously, how in the world would I be engaged without a boyfriend!? Arg, why does she keep on setting me up with blind dates!? Can't my Mother leave me alone for at least 20 minutes!?

I took a shower then rushed to our family house. To my surprise, she isn't home. I'm so upset! I entered our house, I saw Mr. Chen (Mom's secretary). Nakatayo siya sa may pintuan at parang alam talaga niyang darating ako. At ugh! Talagang alam niyang darating ako!

"Mr. Chen, good evening." Bati ko sa kanya.

"Magandang gabi din sa'yo, Ms. Lee." Bahagya siyang ngumiti.

"Mr. Chen, where is my Mother?" I asked straightforwardly.

"Ms. Lee, she left a while ago, she said she will be meeting someone." He said seriously.

Just as how I expected, sa tuwing blind dates, nawawala at nagtatago sa akin si Mama.

"Mr. Chen, who is she meeting this time? Shouldn't she meet me first before she makes my life miserable, again?"

He sighed. "Your mom is doing this for--"

"I know, that's why I'd like to thank her." I flashed a smile. "May I?" I said as I attempted to open the door to my Mothers room, but Mr. Chen blocked me. Oh no, he is too obvious!

"Please let me pass." I said. Sinusubukan kong pumasok sa room ni Mama pero pinipigilan ako ni Mr. Chen. Arg, alam ko namang nagtatago lang si Mama sa akin. "Let me in." I really want to confront my mom but Mr. Chen is just SO persistent.

"Miss Lee." He pressed.

"Please let me pass. L-let me!" I struggled while trying to remove his hands that are blocking the door. Yep, you got it right, I am behaving like a 5 year old girl forcing her way in. "P-please let me, now that I am still being polite!" I yelled irritated. Nakakainis naman kasi talaga!

He took out his phone and began dialing. Oh, he's finally calling her? Salamat naman!

"Bring the guards inside."

Nanlaki ang mata ko sa sinabi niya.

"W-what? Mr. Chen, are you seriously doing this to me? Calling bo-body guards? Ano bang kasalalanan ko? Guards? Bakit nag-trespassing ba ako sa sarili kong bahay?"

He gave me a sharp stare. Ugh, I hate this serious side of him!

"Miss Lee, I don't want to hurt you but if you keep on insisting then I might be forced to use--"
