Chapter 6. Breaking the Ice

I walked back to my room and laid on my bed completely ignorin her ass. Thats one thing I can say I learn from being around my granny, how to tune a b***h out. Honestly I didnt hear a word she said until she snatched my phone out of my hands.

Lora: Are u listening to me!?

Yatta: Girl u wasnt say s***t important I told yo ass im not goin. Besides I got class later on today, and im not gone be late f***kin around wit u.

Lora: OH MY GOD!!! Boy aint nobody gone make u late for yo precious class, and like it would matter anyway. U got straight f***kin A's now get yo ass up, and come on! U r too damn cute to always be hidin from the world in this room.(she said pullin me by my arms makin me get off the bed)

Yatta: But I dont wanna go!!(i whined gettin irritated)

Lora: Just go wit me this one time, and I promise i'll never ask u again.

Yatta: Thats a hell of a promise considering the fact that your not askin me now.

Lora: Exactly, now u gettin it.(she smiled)

Yatta: I dont know who worse u, or yo damn twin.(i said puttin on my shoes)

Lora: Dont talk about my big bro, and speakin of him. Whats goin on wit yall anyway?

Yatta: Not a damn thing why u ask me that?

Lora: Well because he always talkin about u, and I just figured the feelings were mutual.

Yatta: Then u figured wrong.

Lora: So u sayin u dont like my brother?(she said twistin her lip)

Yatta: I mean-

Lora: Of course u do.(she said cuttin me off)

Yatta: I swear yall act just alike.(i said smilin shakin my head)

We made our way out of the dorms, and I started headin towards my car until she stopped me.

Lora: Where u goin?

Yatta: Um..To my car.

Lora: No no no baby, im driving.

She hit the alarm to her all white G6 wit pink rims. Minus that rims I thought the car was bad as f***k. The ride to the mall was filled wit her singin every damn song that came on the radio. I like Lora I do, but this girl gets on my last nerves just like her damn brother sometimes, must be a twin thing. I couldnt take it no more so I shut her up the only way I knew how, startin a conversation.

Yatta: So what we goin to the mall for anyway?

Lora: To get an outfit for the party after the game this weekend, and yes your going!

Yatta: Im not about to argue wit u.(i said lookin out the window)

Lora: So not to pry or anything, but I honestly dont know that much about u. Aside from the fact that u a pretty cool person, but your really reserved.

Yatta: Thats how I like to keep it really. We cool right now, but u never know what the future holds. I might piss u off one day, and then u would air all my s***t or throw it in my face.

Lora: Wow do u really think im that kinda person?

Yatta: I think thats how all people are. At least thats how all the people in my life have been, except for...nevermind.

Lora: There u go again being all reserved and s***t. Why do u never let down your walls damn, a b***h is tired of climbin over mountains.

Yatta: I never asked u too.
