Chapter 20. Feeling neglected (TAE MIND)

I woke up this mornin feelin good as hell that god blessed me to see another year. This couldnt be a better day either cuz I aint have class, practice, and I was done wit all my home work. The only thing that could make this day better is my lil shawty, and speaking of him I aint seen him since yesterday. I checked my phone to see if he called or texted me, but I aint have no notifications which kinda disappointed me. Come to think of it I dont even think he came home lastnight, but I know he aint stay at that nigga Quan dorm or ima fuckin snap. I was just gettin out the shower when i heard the door open which brought a smile to my face. I walked into the living room butt ass naked and still drippin wet only to see Lora coverin her eye as I covered my self as well.

Lo: Damn big bro I know its our birthday, but that dont mean u gotta walk around in yo birthday suit.
Tae: Oh my bad I thought u was Yatta.
Lo: What kinda freaky shit yall into walkin around naked. It must be nice living wit yo boyfriend.(she laughed)
Tae: Man shut yo ass up dont worry about what we do.
Lo: Mmhhmm I knew yall was some freaks.
Tae: Whatever but aye have u heard from him today?
Lo: Can u put some cloths on first?
Tae: My bad.(i laughed)

I went in my room to get dressed then went back out to talk to her.

Tae: So have u?
Lo: Have I what?
Tae: Talked to Yatta?
Lo: Nah I talked to mama and granny though.
Tae: Yea they already called me too.
Lo: He aint answerin his phone?
Tae: Nah i called him like 15 times already.
Lo: He prolly just out right now, but Reggie takin me to ihop u wanna go?
Tae: Yea I guess.

As soon as I walked back in my room my phone started ringin.

Tae: Hello.(i said excited)
Pat: Wussup birthday boy?
Tae: Whats good Pat.(i said disappointed)
Pat: Shit tryna see what u on today.
Tae: Im about to go out to eat wit Lo and Reggie right now why wussup.
Pat: Marv been over here talkin shit sayin how he wanna whoop yo ass in some one on one for yo birthday.
Tae: Yea right that nigga cant even beat my shawty let alone me.(I laughed)
Pat: Well shit we gone be at the courts later so when ever u done just come through.
Tae: Iight bro.
Pat: Later.

I had tried to call Yatta a few more times before we got to ihop, but he still wouldnt answer or reply to my messages. I wasnt even really hungry no more cuz this shit was startin to worry me.

Reggie: U good bruh?
Tae: Yea im koo just startin to worry about Yatta.
Lo: Boy he is ok u said he was wit Quan last time u talked to him right?
Tae: Yea and thats the fuckin problem!(i snapped)
Lo: What that mean?
Tae: Its like ever since they made up he always wit that nigga instead of me when we dont even see each other like that because of school and shit.
Lo: Quan not gay though is he?
Tae: I think that nigga like Yatta honestly.
Reggie: So what u sayin u think he cheatin or somethin?
Tae: Hell nah Yatta wouldnt do that to me, but when it comes to Quan anything is possible.
Lo: Come on Tae u suppose to have more trust in him than that.
Tae: I do trust him he aint gave me no reason not to. Its Quan I dont trust and honestly I be jealous when he always wit that nigga.
Reggie: Maybe its a good reason they been hangin out so much.
Tae: Yea right like goin to the mall and shit is a good reason.
Reggie: Trust me im sure he got a good reason.
Tae: Whatever man.(i said pickin through my food)

I didnt wanna think like that, but my worry was slowly turning into anger. When we finally left I went back to the dorms to change, and to see if Yatta might be there. Unfortunately he wasnt and it kinda pissed me off more than I already was. Its almost 2 o'clock and he still aint fuckin called me or nothin. I made my way to the courts where Pat and Marv were so I could take my mind off of Yatta and stop worryin about him.

Marv: Happy birthday bro.
Pat: Where Yatta at?
Tae: I dont fuckin know man I aint talk to his ass all day.
Marv: Damn is he iight?
Tae: I hope he is.
Pat: U aint went lookin for him?
Tae: Last time I talked to him he was wit that nigga Quan, and I aint goin over that nigga house.
Marv: He aint come back to the crib lastnight?
Tae: Nah he didnt.
Pat: What if somethin happened to him nigga.
Tae: Nah I doubt that cuz I wouldve heard somethin by now from somebody. Besides if somethin was wrong I would be able to feel it.
Marv: What u mean?
Tae: Im sayin I wouldnt feel right. I dont know how to explain it, but if he was hurt or somethin I would be all depressed and shit. Its a love thing I guess.
Marv: Damn thats deep. I knew he had u open but I aint know u was this open.(he laughed)
Tae: Normally I would say fuck u, but I cant even stunt I love the shit outta his ass.
Pat: U dont think they fuckin around do u?
Tae: Yatta wouldnt do no shit like that to me.
Marv: Yea nigga dont be puttin nothin like that in his head about lil dude.
Pat: My bad damn im just sayin shit u aint hittin it so maybe somebody else is.
Tae: Like I said if somethin like that was goin on I would be able to tell. Yea im shitty at him..Nah pissed off is more like it, but I know aint no shit like that goin on. I just dont know why he been so distant man this shit buggin the hell outta me.
Marv: Whatever it is bro im sure its a good reason for it.
Pat: Man enough wit all this gay shit. Did u niggas come to play ball or not?
Tae: U know what, u right.

We played about four or five games until I was tired as shit and finally decided to call it quites. It was almost 7 when I sat down on the bleachers and noticed my phone lightin up in my duffle bag. My face lit up when I saw that it was Yatta that had been blowin my phone up for like 2 hours straight and he even left a voicemail.

"Yatta: Bae im SO sorry I fell to sleep helpin Quan lastnight. Please dont be mad im on my way to the dorm, and Happy Birthday."

This was around 3 somethin and even though he said he was sorry I was still pissed. Im sick of Quan ass always comin before me and this shit is about to end today. I started to call him back but fuck that im just gone show up on his ass.

Pat: Aye bro u tryna hit the club up tonight?
Tae: Nah man im about to get back to my dorm Yatta say he at home now.
Marv: Damn u aint gone celebrate.
Tae: Look i'll call yall if I change my mind right now I gotta go.
Pat: Thats a damn shame.(he laughed)
Tae: Shut up Pat dont even start.
Pat: I wasnt even bout to say nothin.
Marv: Nigga u always got somethin to say.(he laughed)
Tae: I'll see yall later.

After I told Pat and Marv I was leavin I made my way back to the dorm. I was so fuckin mad that instead of me wakin up to my baby on MY birthday he was sleep at Quan crib doin who the fuck knows what. When I finally got there I stormed up to our room, and couldnt get the door open fast enough.

Tae: Yatta where the fuck u at!(i yelled)

I was instantly caught off gaurd by what I saw. There were rose petals and lit candles every where. It smelled so damn good in here and it was some sexy slow music playin that set the perfect mood. Just when I was about to yell for him again I felt some arms wrap around me from behind and a kiss was placed on my neck. When I turned around I swear I lost my breath because of how sexy he looked. The way his eyes seemed to glow, and how his sexy chocolate skin shined from the candle light. He hugged me and then kissed me wit so much passion it made my dick come to life.

Yatta: Bae im sorry I swear I am.(he said nervously)

All I could do was smile at him even though I wanted to be pissed, but that can wait until later. I didnt say nothin as he kept goin on tryna explain the reason he been ghost all day.

Yatta: I know u about to curse me out and I deserve it. Im sorry I been neglectin u like i have lately, but I over slept at Quan place. I was up all night helpin him wit his paper to return the favor for helpin me wit all this. I know ive been distant, but I just didnt want u to find out what all I was tryna do. Even though I know u hate suprises I just wanted u to know how special u are to me, and the only reason I been hangin out wit Quan so much is cu-

I cut him off by pullin him into another kiss to stop his rambling.

Tae: Right now I dont even care about all that shawty.(i smiled)

He looked at me in shock for a second and then a smile appeared on his face.

Yatta: I love you.(he said lookin in my eyes)

Damn this the first time he actually said that to me and that made me smile even harder.

Tae: I love u too.(i said smilin and kissin him)
