Chapter 45. Wait Over

The new year had come as fast as it left, and I couldnt have brought it in any better. Not only was I havin a baby by somebody I love, but now were engaged. For the next few weeks I was walkin on air, and nothing at all could weigh me down. School had started back, and I was so proud of myself for makin it through the first semester wit above a 4.0. Tae's knee was even starting to get better although sometimes I feel like he pushes it a little too far, but I cant tell his big head ass nothing. I go with him to all of his physical therapy sessions just in case I ever gotta play doctor on his ass at home. I thought that him finding out I was pregnant was the happiest I'd ever see him, but now that we're engaged its like we're the only people in the world when he's around me. February was right around the corner which means im almost five months now, and ever since I had that dream I've been so eager to meet my son in real life. My doctors appointment was later today so I could see if my dream was right about the sex of the baby, but the bad thing about it is Tae was gonna be out of town for an away game so he wouldnt be there. He even tried to talk the coach into postponing the game so he could come, but without giving him a good enough reason he wouldnt do it. Lora said she would go with me though so I wouldnt have to go alone. My stomach is even starting to poke out now so I've been wearing bigger shirts because my skinny ass would looked deformed if I didnt. Most people just think im gettin thugged out from hangin around Tae so I just rolled wit that. The few people that actually did know what was going on found my new style pretty amusing like L silly ass who was fuckin wit me as we walked to class.

L: Wussup bruh aye let me get a dime off u.(he said tryna dap me up)
Yatta: Shut up fool.(I laughed)
L: Oh my bad Yatta thats u?(he said playin dumb)
Yatta: Why the hell u messin wit me today?
L: Its just funny seeing u dressed like this thats all. I never thought I would see u wearin cloths two sizes too big in my life.(he laughed)
Yatta: Well im glad u think its funny, but I dont really have a choice.
L: How many months are u now?
Yatta: Almost five.
L: Damn man time flying aint it.
Yatta: Not fast enough shit im ready for this to be over.
L: Can I see?
Yatta: See what?(I asked confused)
L: How big u are.
Yatta: No dont touch me.
L: Come on u use to let me do it before.
Yatta: Well before he didnt move, and creep me the fuck out. Im not use to all that yet, and I think he sleep right now so no.(I said walkin around him)
L: It be movin?
Yatta: Uh...yea.(I laughed)
L: Man come on Kenny let me see.(he said stopping me)

I sighed, and tightened the shirt around my stomach so he could see.

L: Dammmnnnn u gone get big as hell! U said u only five months!?(he said touching my stomach)
Yatta: Im not that big am I?
L: Kenny yo shit on swole right now bruh sorry to tell u.(he laughed)
Yatta: Aw shut yo ass up.(I said movin his hand away)
L: Dont get mad at me I aint the one that knocked u up, but I woulda been though if u wasnt on that bullshit back then.
Yatta: Dont start LaDarius, but is it noticeable through the shirt?(I said pullin the shirt tryna fluff it up)
L: Not really, but u still got four more months to go. How u plan on hiding that when its only gone get bigger?(he laughed)
Yatta: I dont because hopefully he'll be out by then.
L: Yea....About that. How is that gone work out since....U know?
Yatta: I have no idea, but I got a doctors appointment later so im gone find out then.
L: Aw ok. Aye when u start wearing jewelery?(he said pointin to my engagement ring, and the chain around my neck)
Yatta: On Christmas.(I smiled)
L: Aw ok they got u all blinged out and shit now. Wait a minute do that charm say "Tae"?(he said lookin at the half heart)
Yatta: Yea.(i laughed)
L: I swear yall some fuckin cakes man Tae mustve gave that to u the way yo ass smilin.
Yatta: Actually i bought this, but he got one just like it with my name on it.
L: Why we aint never do shit like that?
Yatta: Because u were to busy chasin all yo bitches.
L: Whatever man let me see the ring.(he said grabbin my hand) Damn these look like real diamonds.(he said inspecting my ring)
Yatta: They are.(I laughed)
L: Thats wussup. Shit I wouldnt give nobody a ring like this unless I was about to marry they ass.(he laughed)
