Chapter 49. Ready or Not

There were so many thoughts, and emotions going through my head as I looked at his all too familiar face. The emotion that I seemed to feel the most was anger, but it wasnt towards Quan. L was the nigga that I could choke the fuck out right now if I could move at my full capability...damn I cant wait for this to be over.

Quan: Damn u got big lil bit I almost cant call u that no more.(he laughed)
Yatta: Ye...Yea. Thats what happens when something is growing inside of u.(I said still shocked he was really here)
Quan: U just gone stand there or u gone give me a hug?(he smiled)
Yatta: Im sorry im just shocked to see u.(I said huggin him)
Quan: L told me about yo babyshower, and it just wouldnt be right if I missed it since he is my god son.(he said causin me to give L a dirty look on the low)
Yatta: That was nice of him. Um....Did Tae see u already?

Him and L exchanged this look that let me know the answer to my question. Great this is exactly how I wanted to end such a good day with possible drama. To make matters worse Tae was walkin through the door smiling until he saw who I was talkin to. Me being around him so much I could tell that his demeanor changed, but to everybody else he prolly still seemed happy as he walked over to us.

Tae: U ready to go baby?(he said wrappin his arms around my waiste)
Yatta: Yea I just gotta help them finish cleanin up then we can leave.
Tae: Iight shawty im about to go help them put the rest of the stuff in the truck.(he said kissin me then looked at L and Quan as they all exchanged a respectful but tension filled head nod before he walked off)
Quan: I see he still pissed off wit me.
Yatta: Well since the last time yall saw eachother ended with a fight im sure he would be.
L: Im gone let yall talk.
Yatta: Oooh no. Sorry, but were on a time limit so this is gone have to wait.
Quan: Its cool L. I'll just hit u up later then lil bit.
Yatta: Ok.

He started walkin towards the door with L behind him until I grabbed his arm.

Yatta: What the fuck is wrong with u why would u bring him here?
L: Im sorry I didnt plan on it, but once he found out where I was goin he wouldnt take no for an answer.
Yatta: I thought u said he moved back to the city?
L: He did, but he didnt like the schools there compared to being here. That and it was too late for him to get on the team there.
Yatta: Well aint that just great. U didnt tell him did u?
L: Tell him what?(he asked confused)
Yatta: Nevermind if u dont remember I have nothin to worry about.
L: Oh wait u mean the whole marriage thing? Nah I havent said anything.
Yatta: Keep it that way please.(I said walkin off)

Although Quan didnt seem to still be stuck on me I didnt want to test my theory. After everything was all cleaned up I made my way out to the truck where Tae was waiting. He got out to help me get in like he always does, and then we headed back to the house.

Tae: So when did he get back?(he said still lookin at the road)
Yatta: I have no idea. I didnt invite him nor did I know he was comin.
Tae: Calm down shawty.(he laughed)
Yatta: Im just gettin all that out the way so u wont be mad at me.
Tae: Its cool bae I aint trippin. I mean he is KJ god daddy right?

I looked over at him in disbelief as I put my hand up to his forehead to see if he had a fever, and he just cracked up laughin.

Yatta: Baby are u feeling ok?(I asked laughin)
Tae: Im good shawty I just know what I got, and I know u aint goin no where. Back then I would still see him as a threat, but your mine for life bae.(he said taking my hand locking our finger together before kissing it).

All I could do was smile at his confidence, and the fact that he just dont know how right he was. If only he knew how much he suprises me, and my love grows for him everytime I think something happens thats gonna cause us problems. When we got home we spent the rest of the day putting KJ's crib together, and setting up everything in his room. For the next couple of days thing were going smooth as usual, and I hadnt heard anything from Quan at all not that I was hoping he would or anything. Today when I woke up I was more uncomfortable than usual for some reason, but I really wasnt sure why. Tae had one of his final games today, but he kept sayin he wasnt goin because I didnt feel good.
