Chapter 48. Baby Shower

The last couple months had flown by, and my babyshower was less than a few hours away. Its april so that means im seven months now, and big as a fuckin house. All I ever do is eat, sleep, and work. Tae stuck to his word when he said he wouldnt miss another doctors appointment. He got his mom to talk to his coach whenever I had one, and after she cursed his ass out a few times Tae could get out of a game just like that. I dont know what irritated me more though between having all this extra weight on me, being so uncomfortable all the time, or wobbling uncontrolably whenever I walk. To keep things from gettin out I took a leave of absence from my job until the baby gets here. The good thing about that was I was still getting paid for the time that I took off. Everybody has been running around all day tryna get things together before it was time for the shower to start. I was chillin wit my cousins James, and Emoly until it was time to leave though since Tae left us here to go pick up our cake. I ended up telling them as well as the rest of my side of the family the truth about everything, and after the shock they were cool with it although they still didnt fully understand like everybody else.

Em: Yatta I swear u look so damn cute.(she smiled)
James: Yea cuzzo, but we gone have to hit the weights when this is over.(he laughed)
Yatta: Fuck yall, and what u tryna say James u callin me fat?
James: N..Nah im just sayin.
Yatta: Yea I bet. Trust me when this is over I refuse to become a fat ass so dont trip.(I laughed)
Em: U not fat boo thats the baby. After the baby born it'll all come off watch what I tell u.
Yatta: I really hope so. I be feeling all big, and ugly sometimes. Then I get depressed, and dont do shit but start eating some more to make me happy.
Tae: U could never be ugly shawty.(he said smiling comin through the door)
James: Whats good Tae.
Em: Hey daddy to be.
Tae: Wussup yall. Hey baby.(he said leaning down to kiss me since I was sittin on the couch then kissed my stomach)
Yatta: Hey bae.
Em: Yall so cute dressin alike for the babyshower!

We both had on white v-necks with tan colored cargos mine being shorts, and his were pants along wit some all white jays. Tae had on a all white fitted New York hat since he cut his hair which I was mad about because I thought he looked good with it, but he likes havin a fade better.

James: Yea yall do look fresh in the all white.
Em: Forreal though when is the wedding, and where?
Yatta: We waitin until after the baby born then-
Tae: We gettin married in New York.(he said smilin as he finished my sentence)
Yatta: Shut up dont be finishing my sentences.(I laughed)
James: I cant wait until I can be like that wit my boyfriend.
Yatta: How yall doin anyway?
James: We still good. Im workin on tryna get comfortable wit myself, and come to terms with everything so we can be open about us. My boys dont fuck wit him no more so thats a plus.
Yatta: See I told u. Its not what u do, but how u do it.
Em: Well when the hell u gone give me some advice?
Yatta: U aint never asked me, or told me about nothin.(I laughed)
Em: Well-
Tae: Hold on shawty thats gone have to wait.(he said cuttin her off and I punched him in the chest since he was still leaned over in front of me) What u hit me for?(he asked confused)
Yatta: Dont be rude bae.(I said wit an attitude)
Tae: Im sorry baby. My bad Em.
Em: Its cool.(she laughed)
James: Man yall crazy.(he laughed shakin his head)
Tae: It be like that sometimes, but dont hit me no more shawty.(he said kissin me)
Yatta: U aint gone do nothin.(I laughed)
Tae: See u talkin shit cuz they here, but come on baby its time for us to go.(he said takin my hands to help me up)
Yatta: I'll be so glad when this is over.(I said sighing heavy)
Tae: Dont be rushing my son he'll come out when he's ready. Shit I dont blame him cuz I dont be wantin to get out of u either.(he said laughin and bending down to kiss my stomach)
Yatta: Bae!!(I said embarrassed that he said that in front of them and he just gave me a sly smirk)
Em: Ooohh see thats how u got like that in the first place.(she laughed)
James: Yatta I aint know u was a freak.
Yatta: Shut up James. Aint u to young to hear stuff like this anyway?
James: Haha very funny.
Em: Its gone be ok though boo. How many months are u now, and when are u due?
Yatta: Im goin on eight, but fuck a due date if they could take his ass out now I would be A-Okay.
James: Man how do it feel like aint that weird, and where is it comin out at?
Yatta: Its weird at first, but u get use to it. They say a c-section, but im so ready if they told me I had to throw his ass up I would try my hardest.
Tae: Come on bae stop talkin like that. U know u aint gone put him down when he get here so chill out.
Yatta: U try havin somethin inside of u kickin, and punchin yo bladder, ribs, and whatever the fuck else it can then talk to me until then hush. U right too when he get here thats gone be my baby, but right now im at a breaking point shit.
Tae: Come on shawty.(he laughed leading me towards the door)
Em: Awwww look at the way he walkin.(she said excited)
