Chapter 31. Never say Never

I looked at him as if he had just spoke a totally different language to me. This just wasnt something that I could wrap my head around at all no matter how hard I tried.

Tae: Hold on what u just say?
Doctor: I said he's possibly pregnant.
Yatta: I dont know what the fuck u talkin about, but u got me fucked up.(I said tryna get up and take out my IV)
Tae: Chill out shawty u gone rip yo skin takin it out like that.(he said stoppin me)
Yatta: Tae im ready to go!! Now either u can get him to help me take this shit out or I'll take it out myself like I planned to.
Tae: Just listen to what he gotta say bae this all might just be a misunderstandin.

I thought about what he just said and clung to that in hopes of me still just being a normal person.

Doctor: Ok then. Kenyatta when u were born u were very....unique. As u know I was your mothers doctor from the time she got pregnant wit u until she died. Your father and mother were both very excited about it and even more so when they thought u were a girl. When u came out u shocked us all though because u were far from that.
Yatta: No shit I said im a fuc-
Tae: Bae come on just listen. Keep goin Doc.
Doctor: Yes well. We were all confused because the ultra sound clearly showed u would be a girl. Then thats when we found out how rare u really are. The thing is u were born with both reproductive organs, but one dominated the other.
Yatta: So u sayin im some kind of fuckin freak?(I said as my voice cracked tryna hold back the tears)
Doctor: No not at all. Like I said this is very rare, but the term is mosaic hermaphrodite.
Tae: Wait I thought thats when u had both male, and female parts. I know for a fact that all he got is a dick.
Doctor: That may be the case, but like I said he is unique. There are only a handful of people in the world like him.
Tae: So then whats the difference because I dont get it?
Doctor: His male genitals seemed to completely dominate his body so we didnt think anything of it. Although that was a mistake on our part because we neglected the fact that he has working female reproductive organs as well. Thats the difference between a mosaic hermaphrodite, and a hermaphrodite. One simply has both genders while the other has both, and they are fully functional. Meaning he can get someone pregnant as well as get pregnant.

I laid back on the bed covering my face wit my hands tryna hide my silent tears. How could my parents hide something like this from me, and why?Is this what my mama ment all those times she called me "special"? No theres no way. I wont believe it. I refuse to believe it.

Tae: So he really is pregnant?(he said smilin wit excitement)
Doctor: Yes its a possibility.(he laughed)
Yatta: This gotta be some kind of sick joke right? My granny put u up to this shit didnt she?
Doctor: I can understand how this might be difficult for u to accept but-
Yatta: Nah fuck that im done listenin to u. I shouldve never came back to this bullshit ass city.
Doctor: Please calm down. The stress is what caused u to block out before. If u want I could give u an ultra sound.
Yatta: A ultra.....GET OUT!!(I yelled in anger)

He jumped and rushed out of the room as I got up lookin for my cloths tryna put em on.

Tae: Bae...Bae. Yatta calm down shawty.
Yatta: Calm down. CALM DOWN!? What the fuck u mean calm down did u not just hear what he said!?
Tae: Yea I heard him so what.
Yatta: Tae im a fuckin freak I might as well go join a got damn circus!(I said as my voice started crackin again)
Tae: No u not bae.(he said huggin me)
Yatta: Yes I am.(I said huggin him back cryin into his chest) This gotta be a bad dream, and all I wanna do is wake up.
Tae: Its not a dream shawty this is all real. Dont none of this shit change a thing because I still love u bae.(he said as he rocked me back and forth)
Yatta: How am I suppose to deal wit this shit? How can I explain to people that im some kind of fuckin weirdo? How can u even say that u still love me right now, and act like u mean it?
