Chapter 50. Joy and Sorrow TAE MIND

After I got off the phone wit Yatta I was so damn excited I didnt know what to do. On my way to the hospital I was driving like a bat out of hell, and im suprised I didnt get a ticket. I cant believe my baby finally about to have my lil man, but its happening and im not gone miss it. I told shawty I shouldve just stayed home with him in the first place because coach was shitty as fuck at me for leaving. Im startin not to give a fuck about that team though cuz shit next year I'll be graduating makin money out the ass to spoil my kings even though I know Yatta gone try to stop me at first. The closer I got to the hospital the more anxious I got, and the more reality started to set in. Im really about to be a daddy, and have a baby with somebody that I love past death. I speed into the parking lot like a race car driver, and realized Lora along with Reggie were walkin up to the hospital doors. I got out the car, and ran right pass them sayin hi then bye as I bolted into the building heading for the receptionist desk. As she looked up what room he was in Lora, and Reggie managed to catch up wit me.

Lora: I thought u had a game?
Tae: Fuck that game what u mean?(I asked offended)
Lora: Calm down im just sayin I didnt think u would be able to leave.
Tae: Oh nah coach already know the deal, and even if he didnt I wouldve left anyway.
Receptionist: Ok sir- oh excuse me.(she said noticing that I was talkin to Lora)
Tae: Its cool this my sister we here to see the same person.
Receptionist: Oh ok. Well he's in room 328 on the third floor. All u have to do is take a left down that hall, and the elevator should be on your right hand side.(she smiled)
Tae: Thank u.(I said running off)
Lora: Tae wait up damn!(she said running after me)

I was so pumped with adrenaline that I was moving fast as hell, and since I still had on my hoopin uniform I was moving even faster. When I made it to elevator I was tapping the "up" button impatiently as Lora, and Reggie had finally made it to where I was.

Lora: Boy why are u rushing he ain't goin no where.(she laughed)
Tae: Because man I aint tryna miss nothin. Why the fuck is this elevator movin so slow?(I asked irritated still tappin the button)
Lora: Big bro u need to chill out like seriously.
Reggie: Bae why do u call him big bro yall twins?
Lora: He was born first...duh.(she laughed)
Reggie: But yall was born on the same day.
Lora: Its a twin thing boo u wouldnt understand.
Reggie: I guess.(he smiled shakin his head)
Tae: Man fuck this im takin the stairs.(I said walkin towards the stairway)
Lora: Tae wait the doors just opened.
Tae: Fuck that elevator!(I yelled going up the stairs)

I dont think I've ever moved this fast in my life as I sprinted up each step two at a time. When I got to the third floor I was speed walking down the hallway looking for his room until finally I saw my baby laying in the bed. I walked in the room smiling immediately going to him, and started kissing him all over his face.

Yatta: Bae stop.(he laughed)
Tae: Shawty I told u shouldve stayed at home today.(I smiled)
Ms.Jackson: Well im glad he the only mutha fucka u see sittin in here.(she said wit an attitude)
Tae: My fault Ma wussup.(I turned around to look at her and saw Quan ass sittin in the corner)

I guess he mustve been there when Yatta went into labor. I aint even trippin off that fuck nigga cuz he know what it is, and if he got a problem I'll beat his ass just like last time. My main focus right now is my baby....both of em. I just nodded at him to be respectful cuz I know Yatta want me to at least be cordial with the nigga, but thats all his ass gone ever get. I pulled up a chair sittin next to the bed holdin my shawty hand feelin bad as hell that I couldnt ease his pain. All I could do was sit there, and try to keep myself from cryin because he was cryin so I had to be strong. I got up leaning over him kissing his forehead, and his cheeks as I whispered in his ear.

Tae: Stop cryin bae cuz u know when u hurt I hurt so I need u to be strong for me ok shawty everything gone be alright.(I whispered kissing him wiping the sweat from his face)
