Chapter 51. Recovery

I woke up feeling drained, sore, and like I had to vomit bad as hell. When I tried to move my hand I noticed something, or should I say someone had their big ass head on my entire hand. I started to shake them off until I realized it was my baby. I used my other hand to rub his head gently trying to wake him up as he slowly started to stir.

Yatta: Baby.(I said softly)

He lifted up his head, and his eyes were all swollen and puffy. When he looked at me his face lit up, and he jumped up so fast his chair fell backwards.

Tae: Baby u ok!(he yelled excitedly)
Yatta: Yea im ok why are u yelling?
Tae: U dont remember?
Yatta: Remember what?(I asked confused)

I looked down at my stomach, and noticed it was flat again which was a relief to me. Wait a minute though...Wheres my baby? I started to panic thinking the worst had happened.

Yatta: Wheres KJ? Is he ok did anything happen to him?(I asked nervously)
Tae: Nah shawty he cool just relax.(he said calming me down) Your the one that had everybody worried bae.

I looked around my room, and saw everybody sleep on the extra chairs that were brought into the room.

Yatta: What happened?
Tae: When they did yo c-section they accidently cut something else, and u lost a lot of blood. U scared the fuck out of me bae I thought I was gone lose u.(he said as a tear rolled down his cheek)
Yatta: Tae dont cry u gone make me cry im ok I swear.(I said wiping his face)
Tae: I know baby, but if u had died on me I wouldve killed u. Dont ever do that shit to me again.(he said kissin my hand as I smiled)
Yatta: Im sorry bae.

He got up, and kissed me about twelve times before putting his forehead against mine just lookin into my eyes.

Tae: I love you.
Yatta: I love you too.(I said kissing him again)

He closed his eyes, and took a deep breath of relief im guessing. We heard somebody else starting to wake up, and jumped up when they noticed I was woke.

Ms.Jackson: Oh thank God your finally woke. I'll go get the nusre baby.(she said rubbing Tae's back)
Tae: Thanks Ma.
Lora: Yatta ima kick yo ass.(she said starting to cry)
Yatta: Lora stop im ok please dont cry.
Lora: U scared us all half to death boy.(she said huggin me)
Yatta: I know im sorry, but if it make u feel better I dont remember.(I laughed and hissed in pain)
Tae: Baby u ok?(he asked concerned)
Yatta: Yea.(I said tryin not to worry him)

Just then Dr.Philips walked into the room trailing Ms.Jackson.

Dr.Philips: Nice to see that your finally woke. U gave everybody in this room a pretty good scare lastnight.(she smiled)
Yatta: Yea I know, and their not done cursing me out about it either.(I laughed hissing in pain again)
Dr.Philips: Well your not alone because I think I've been getting it worse than u.(she laughed) So how u feeling?
Yatta: Like I gotta throw up, and my body hurts. Everytime I laugh my stomach hurts, and feels like its gonna burst open.
Dr.Philips: That is just one of the side effects from all your medication, and your stitches are still fresh so try to stay relaxed as much as possible so they wont come out. With a lot more rest you'll start to feel better in no time.
Yatta: Great when can I leave?
Tae: Bae u almost died yesterday. U not leavin this hospital until they say u can.
Yatta: Tae u know I hate hospitals though.(I whined)
Tae: I dont care u heard what I said.

I started to say something smart to him, but I saw the seriousness on his face.

Yatta: Fine. Well can I at least see my baby?
Dr.Philips: He's already on the way up. I figured u would want to see what your in all the pain for.(she smiled)
Yatta: Thank u.(I laughed and hiss in pain again)
Tae: Bae stop laughin.(he laughed)
Yatta: Then yall stop sayin stuff to make me laugh.(I said smilin tryna hold it in this time)
