-ALEX-

I really need a sleep in, no matter how fast my mind raced of Ava and the events of the night prior.

However, my Mother so kindly had decided for me that I definitely needed to be woken up at 8am exactly this fabulous Monday morning.

So she entered my room. Without knocking. As usual.

"Get up Alexander," She pulls apart my curtains almost too aggressively, the blinding sunlight now flooding my room almost instantaneously, causing me to groan out loud as I push my face deep into my pillow. "It's 8AM, stop being lazy."

"I didn't get in until 1 last night; can you leave me alone, please?" Yeah... I sat in my car for over an hour just thinking about Ava. I definitely had it bad.

"Well, it is your own fault for not coming home sooner and not answering my calls and texts for the entire night."

"I was busy," Thinking about the woman of my dreams. "So sorry if I didn't have any time to inform you of where I was, at 22 years of age." The sarcasm literally dripped off every word. I really am an awful son.

"Anyway, enough of that, I've only come to inform you to pack your bags."

"What?" I look up from the pillow, still slightly squinting from the rays of the sun hurting my eyes.

"We're going to Berlin." I had to let a few seconds of silence pass for the words to actually settle in.

   "What for?"

"We're going to the world premiere of your cousin's film, obviously."

"That's now?" I ask, my eyebrows knitted together to showcase my confusion as I sat up in my head, looking directly at her.

"The film is coming out on Friday, haven't you seen the posters all over the streets, wake up Alexander!" She clapped her hands together; making me put my hands over my ears, almost like I was a child. It was too early in the morning for this. "Come on, we fly out tonight and we're there for a week."

"That's insane! A premiere doesn't last a week!" I racked my brain for an excuse to get out of it. There was no way I was staying in Berlin for a week.

"No it doesn't, but your Father wants us to have a few days out there as a family vacation thing so make sure you pack enough for a week, and I've got your suit already brought over for the premiere's red carpet." She made her way back to my bedroom door again. "You've got 6 hours until you're needed back here for the car that's taking us to the airport." And with that, she walks out, leaving me with my own thoughts.

'Well there goes my plans for date four tomorrow.'

-AVA-

Jules followed me into Perfect Desserts, still ranting about my step-brother and how much she seemed to detest him. I have to give it to her though, the girl is definitely determined at trying to hide her feelings for Logan, no matter how useless she is at it. Everyone knows her true feelings. She even carried on ranting as she helped me open up, and even served a few customers whilst telling me how even though she liked Logan's recent haircut, she still thinks he's a dork.

It had just hit 10AM, and I had sent Jules out to run a few errands as I stood at the back of the shop plating up a brand new cake that my Mother had just iced.

My full concentration was at trying not to drop the cake when my Mother's voice rang through the atmosphere, catching my attention.

"Ava, you have a visitor!" She calls, only to be followed by a 6 foot, very familiar brunette walking into the kitchen, a gorgeous smile on his face as he caught sight of me.
