My shift ended at 2pm, and I walked back towards my house, arms linked with Jules as she talked about how much she thought Alex was perfect for me - pun very much intended.

"But like... He's so pretty," She spoke. "And you're so pretty, so your kids are literally going to be supermodels or something."

"Alex and I will not be having any kids."

"How do you know?" She gasps dramatically - typical Jules style. "Watch me, 5 years from now, baby Perfect-Darkbloom will be on his or her way."

"Stop it Jules," I laughed at her dramatic nature. "Who knows what's going to happen five years from now."

"If you guys ain't married, I will lose faith in all of humanity."

However her playfulness died down completely as soon as we reached my front door, and low and behold there stood my step-brother Logan.

"Lo?" He turns to look at me after I called his name, and smiles brightly as usual. Even more so when he spots Jules next to me.

"Hey sis," He uses an arm to hug me. "Thought I'd come a bit early but I wanted to see Emma today. Miss the little EDP."

"I'm going to collect her in a bit from school, wanna join?" Jules tried to speak up and stop the possibility of Logan accompanying us to pick Emma up, but it was too late. Logan nodded eagerly, tossing his keys from one hand another.

"You know I would never pass up the chance to get to see my little EDP." He truly is the best Uncle for Emma, and that was one of the many reasons as to why I was eternally grateful for my Mother marrying Jason. "Hi Jules."

"Logan." Was all she replied with, not even looking at him and crossing her arms across her chest.

"Wow, she's so blinded by my gorgeousness that she can't even look at me." Logan teased, causing me to look down to my shoes as I ran my tongue across my teeth, hiding my amused smile. Jules gasped, finally looking towards him, a face of thunder.

"For your INFORMATION," Wow, she was furious. He properly knew how to push her buttons. "There are literally like a thousand other guys that blind me with their gorgeousness, and you are not one of them."

"Are you sure?" He asks with a smirk. "Cause you haven't been able to look at me until 3 seconds ago."

"Hey, listen here Perfect," I backed up to watch Jules square him up. "Unless your name is Tom Hiddleston, it isn't gonna happen."

"Isn't that Loki from the Avengers?" Logan flinched when both Jules and I ended up erupting with our shock at his question.

"How can you even ask that question?!" I exclaim, joining Jules and standing shoulder to shoulder with her. "OF COURSE he's bloody Loki from Avengers!"

"See, another reason as to why I will never, ever like you, we have literally no interests in common." Jules folds her arms once more, incredibly proud of herself.

"Yeah." He gave a quick chuckle. "We'll see about that, Kensington."

"Hey." She said. "It's MISS Kensington to you."

"Wow." I mouth, glancing back at my step-brother again. "Good luck."

 ***

"Hey sis," Logan caught my attention away from my keys as I stared down at the key ring that Alex gave me a few days ago. We were currently walking down the final street which led onto the road which held Emma's nursery.
