I yawn out loud as I almost fall down the stairs, directly into my living room where I see Jules still sitting where I had left her the night before.

"Are you still here?" I ask, running a hand through the mess of my hair. "Did you move at all?"

"No." She replies, and I couldn't help notice she doesn't seem like her cheery self. I furrow my eyebrows, placing my hands on the back of the sofa she is slouched on.

  "You okay?"

  "Yeah." Again, not very convincing.

"Did something happen?" I walk around the sofa, plonking myself down next to her. I then gasp, and playfully ask "Did Harry Styles turn up with a new girlfriend?"

"That's not even something to joke about." She looks directly to me, a face of thunder on her face. I smirk, knowing that would bring back the Jules I knew.

However though, her face falls again, and she looks back at the screen again. I notice she isn't even looking at anything, just her desktop background which was a picture of her when she met Benedict Cumberbatch.

I then notice she had minimised a webpage. Almost as if she was... Hiding it?

  "What's going on?" I ask.

"Nothing!" She is quick to reply; slamming shut her laptop and begins to scramble up onto her feet. "We should get Emma up and ready for school."

"Jules." I stand up also, a concerned look plastered across my face. "You're scaring me, what's happened?" I sigh again. "You haven't been looking at illness websites again, have you? You can't read stuff like that, you'll diagnose yourself with some random tropical disease you think you're dying of when you've just got a simple cold, remember last time you did that?"

"I'm not looking at stuff like that." She replies, walking towards the door. I follow her there, and stop her before she managed to walk out and up the stairs, trying to get Emma up for school.

"Then what's wrong?" I further question. "Because you're definitely not yourse-"

"It's nothing." She cuts me off, and when she looks at me, she tries her best to seem like herself.  "Seriously, we need to get Emma up before she's late for nursery."

"I'm not letting you go until you tell me what's up." I walk back to the computer again, picking it up and resting on top of one arm as I use the other to open it up and glide my finger over the mouse, waking it up again.

"Seriously, Ava," She only used words to stop me this time. "You don't wanna see it."

"See what?" I don't even look at her as I bring up the webpage she was hiding, and my face falls as I read the big, bold, capitalised headline of a leading newspaper.

'Alex Darkbloom shows ex Katherine Gold what she's missing with rumoured new girlfriend - model Luisa Ackerton'.

"Ava," I look up to her, seeing her shake her head. "Seriously, you shouldn't read it. It's just a stupid article thing."

"Where did they get it from?" I ask. "The rumour, where..?"

"There are pictures of them at the premiere," She replies, wrapping her arms across her body, almost as if it was a comfort for herself. "The after-party."

"That's it?" I ask, clicking into the article and scrolling down, seeing all of the pictures of Alex and his famous cousin Grayson, along with this model called Luisa and her friends. "These are all the pictures?"

"There's some more like... All over Twitter." I can tell by her voice she wasn't sure she wanted to tell me all of this. "And Facebook, and Instagram."

'Of course the only girl for Alex would have to be a famous model with endless pins and a killer figure!' The sleazy article went on. 'Who else could catch the eye of the famous billionaire after his relationship with the incredibly beautiful and incredibly talented Katherine Gold?'

"Ava, stop doing this to yourself." She attempts to take the laptop off me, but I step back out of her reach and continue to scroll through the article.

'Alex and Luisa were seen partying for majority of the night in celebration of Grayson's new movie releasing.' It goes on, showing more and more pictures of them together. 'We're for one are excited to see this new power couple romance bloom.'

"This is bull." I place the laptop down onto the sofa again. "I need to get Emma up for school."

  "Are you okay?"

I don't even reply. I didn't even want to talk about it.

So I just walked past Jules and up the stairs to Emma's bedroom.
