"Urgh, dude what's with your bloody bags, what do you have in here, your ENTIRE wardrobe?!" Grayson exclaims as I dump one of my suitcases down onto my bed. "Where are you going?!"
"I have to see Ava," I turn back to look at him after I got to my bedroom door. "Look you can lock up, yeah? Just make sure the house is locked."
"What's with the rush?" He asks as I pull my phone out my pocket, glancing at the time. "Seriously the amount of stuff I've heard you say about this girl, you really do bloody like her. Are we all looking at the future Mrs Alex Darkbloom?"
"Stop it," I couldn't help but smile. "Just make sure we don't get burgled while I'm out trying to get my girlfriend to speak to me."
"Well, good luck with that."
It only took 15 minutes, but in those short 15 minutes I went through everything I was going to tell her. I have no idea how furious she's going to be. But then again... We have only literally known one another for almost 2 weeks.
Then another thought began to worry me... What if she doesn't care? Sure, I want Ava to not be mad at me, and not let this affect the relationship we could go onto have that I really want, but... What if she wasn't serious about this like I was? What if she just thought it was a silly little bit of fun?
Those were the thoughts that kept whizzing round my head as I park my car in front of her house and make my way up her driveway, knocking three times and waiting.
Now it was just to see if she'd open the door or not.

After bringing Emma back from ballet class, she ended up watching cartoons and passing out by 7pm from her daily activities.
It was currently 7.30pm, and after I tucked Emma up into her bed and closed the door, I sat myself down onto my sofa and brought out a magazine from my handbag that I purchased whilst I was out. Why I was doing this to myself, I had no idea. On the cover, of course it was Alex and Luisa. How could it have not been? They were the 'newest Hollywood power couple', whatever that bull means.
I hadn't even read three sentences of the awfully sleazy written gossip magazine when there were three heavy knocks on my front door. I stand myself up, magazine still in hand as I walk on over and open the door straight up.
"Alex?" I was surprised to say the least. He wasn't due back for another 5 days or so. I don't say anything further though. I only press my lips together as I lean down onto the door frame, placing the magazine down onto the table beside me and guiding my hands into the pockets of my jeans.
"Can I come in?" He asks, a hopeful look on his face. "Please?"
"What for, Alex?" I ask.
"At least let me explain?" His tone was one of, again, hope. "Because it is definitely not what it seemed like."
"Then what was it?"
"Just... An unfortunate mistake." He shrugs his shoulders. "And awful timing?"
"I think you should just go, Alex-"
"No, please!" He cuts me off. "Please, I flew all the way from Berlin just to see you, I had to face my Mother's wrath at leaving the family holiday just to see you. You know how hard it is to lie to my Mother?" He tells me. "She can smell a lie from a mile off."
"Admirable," I glance down to the ground, shifting my weight onto my other foot before looking back up to him again. "Look Alex, I get it. You're a famous guy, stupidly rich, probably related to royalty," I pause. "And I'm just a girl from Birmingham with a kid. We're way too different to actually last..."
