IVAN

I examined myself in front of the mirror in the boss' walk-in closet right after I woke up later than him. I had been taking a look at the calendar, hanging behind where I could see in the mirror.

It was already the beginning of the summer holidays and this day-today, is my birthday. I paused during the brief moments as if I were contemplating many questions in my magnificent head.

"Kamusta na kaya pamilya ko?" I wondered as I scratched my gorgeous chin. "Naalala kaya nila na kaarawan ko ngayon?" I asked myself once again, becoming solemn with regard to my situation.

Celebrating alone, I never dreamed that this day would come without their laughter and farce. I sighed heavily as I walked in backward to the sleeping room. I was sluggishly slamming on the bed and looking at the luxurious ceiling.

"Saan na si Boss?" I mulled over in my mind. "Saan banda ng mundo kaya pumunta 'yun?" I muttered and rolled myself in the bedsheet.

I slapped my palm on my forehead. "Anak ng palaka! Oo nga pala, ibang planeta galing si Boss." I paused when I realized what I had been saying.

I gasped when a brilliant idea popped into my magnificent mind. "Hindi kaya, bumalik siya sa kaniyang planeta?" I said and rose from lying, biting the sheet of the pillow.

Baka nagre-charge ng sarili. Bumaiit kasi kagabi.

Fuck! Standing in the middle of the bed and outstretched my arms, I laughed out like a diabolical chicken. "Ito na ang sign para makalabas na ako sa boring na kwartong ito," I roared and laughed once more while my tongue is stinking out.

I skipped down to the floor and crouched down on my knees, my lips immediately kissed the base. "Take your, umm, basta, huwag ka muna bumalik dito," I said and boomed in laughter, jumping and swaying my body towards the shining floor.

When I twisted the knob, it turned out to be locked. "Shit, ano to, house arrest? Este, prison room!" I exclaimed as I pulled the door to open.

"Letche ka, Boss!" I shouted in madness as I kicked the door. "Aray, mashaket!" I whimpered as I hopped on one leg. "Ibalik mo 'yung papuri ko, Hayop!"

Anong bumait? Demonyo parin, huhu.

The sliding door in the balcony creaked open slowly. I immediately look to see who it was. My eyes instantly widened in shock when I saw my hot best friend, sneaking inside.

"Nathan?" I uttered in great confusion.

Anong meron? Bakit nandito siya?

He knocked twice at the door even though he already made himself inside and he's grinning handsomely.

"Nathan!" I beamed and rushed to him. I immediately hugged him tightly. He also wrapped his arms around my neck as he chuckled softly.

"Ginagawa mo dito?" I asked when we separated from each other.

"To pick you up," He replied nonchalantly, grabbing my wrist suddenly.

I frowned in confusion. "Pupulutin mo ako?" I queried, tilting my beautiful head.

He snorted shortly and grinned slightly. "Yeah, yeah, let's go?" He said, inviting me with him.

I squinted my gorgeous eyes as I stared at him. "Sa'n?" I asked him as I followed him to the balcony.

"To the sky," he responded casually, pointing to the sky.

Okay na rin at makakalabas na ako paramagsaya pero...

"Hah?" I exclaimed as I gave him a ridiculous look. "Magpapakamatay tayo?" I asked in a high pitch tone.

He shook his head as he jumped and landed perfectly on the flat top of a railing. "Pumupunta ba sa langit ang mga namatay?" he questioned.

I pouted my lips as I looked at him. "Hindi," I replied and climbed carefully to the top of the railing.

"Give me your hand," he requested while offering his hand.

I blinked as I look at his hand. "Puputulin mo kamay ko?" I queried sadly, looking at him with my gorgeous pitiful eyes.

He burst into laughter and grabbed both of my hands instead. "Ready, Go!" He sang that confused me more.

Unfortunately, he suddenly jumped off that drag me with him. I screamed as if my life depends on it. My grip on his hand tightened as I shut close my eyes.

"Happy Birthday, Nano," He screamed as we fall.

Pag ako ay namatay ngayon, sa mismong araw ng kaarawan ko. Letche na lang ang hindi ko mumultuhin hanggang hindi sila maging multo katulad ko.

"Potangina mo, Nathan!" I screamed. "Happy Death Day, My gorgeous super fabulous self!"
