Chapter 30

Shawn

Tonight was so much fun at the cafe. I joined Camila to sing in the cafe where I actually worked there and it's just so amazing.

"Hey, thanks for helping me," Camila whispered because Sofi was already asleep when we're on our way back to home,

"Sure, Camila," I said as I brought Sofi out from the car,

"And thank you for everything too, I don't know what everything that I talked about but thanks," she said,

"Huh? Oh, yeah, my biggest pleasure," I said,

"Tell me where is Sofi's room, I'll take her there," I continued,

We walked together to Sofi's room while Shawn carried her to her bedroom.

"It's hard for her, Shawn. It's very hard for her to not having parents on her year, she's much quiet now on school since my parents passed away," Camila said as she caress Sofi's hair while Sofi's asleep.

"I know, I totally know what you feel. Hey, you can't be sad all the time, life always goes on, remember that? Whenever you need me, I'll always be there, okay?" I said and she nodded.

We walked out from Sofi's room slowly because we didn't want to wake her up. Camila closed the door very slowly. After that, we jogged down to the first floor.

"You're going to cafe tomorrow?" Camila asked,

"Yeah, why?" I said,

"Oh, just asking, I thought you were going on night shift," she said,

"Hahaha, you miss me?" I joked,

"Stop joking, it's not funny," she said as she pushed my body a little bit away from her,

"Well, I gotta go now, call me whenever you need me, okay? Good bye, say Sofi that I love her," I said and waved my hand to Camila. She waved back and smiled to me.

This morning, I went to the cafe and worked as I usually do. I planned to brought some food for Sofi because I'm one hundred percent that she'll like it.

It's almost 12 pm and my shift is almost over. I really can't wait to meet Camila and Sofi. They are like my family now, I mean Sofi is already being a part of my family. I should take her to Canada whenever I come back home.

"Well, gotta go now, see you tomorrow, dude," I said as I took off my apron and Ben just nodded.

I went to the market first to bought some groceries so I can bought some snacks for Sofi as well.

After that, I decided to go to Camila's house directly. I'm so excited to meet them both. I knocked the door as I arrived.

"Hey, Shawn," Sofi opened the door,

"Hi, Sofi. I brought you something," I said,

"Really???? Yay!!!" she said excitingly,

We walked in and I saw Camila is in the kitchen and cook something for lunch. I decided to approach her in the kitchen.

"Hey, Mila," I greeted,

"Hey, Shawn. What did you bring? It seems a lot of things," she said as she approached me,

"Well, I bought some groceries and I bought some snacks for Sofi, here you go, darling," I said as I handed some snacks to Sofi,

"Sofi, don't forget to say?" Camila said,

"Thank you, Shawn, hehehe," Sofi said and she walked to the lounge room, I smiled.

"Shawn, you should't do this for us, it's your money, you should save it for yours," Camila said,

"I only want to make Sofi happy, you want see her happy to right?" I said,

"Yes, but you shouldn't do-," she said but I cut those words,

"That doesn't matter at least you both are happy," I said,

"Thank you so much, Shawn," she said,

"My pleasure, Mila," I said.

"Let's go to the lounge room," she said, I nodded and followed behind her,

We watched Hi-5 because Sofi loved to watch that and it's really cute to see her like this, full of happiness.

"Sofi, do you want to go the park?" I asked her,

"Shawn?" Camila looked at me, confused and looked like she doesn't let me to take Sofi to anywhere,

"I want! I want! Today?" Sofi asked,

"Yes, darling," I said,

"Yeaay!!! We're going to park today, Mila!" Sofi said as she shook Camila's hand excitingly,

"I gotta go change now," Sofi said as she ran to the upstairs,

"Shawn, what are you doing, oh my gosh! Stop doing things like that!" Camila said,

"Why? That doesn't matter at all, okay? It's all good," I said,

"You better change your clothes, too," I continued and she rolled her eyes,

"Okay," she answered,

We were now at the park, playing some games there which is very fun. Sofi laughed too much and it's very beautiful to see her laughing.

We were playing together and we looked like a damn family. What? No, I'm not thinking about that, let's skip that.

As we're getting ice cream, Sofi asked a thing to Camila which makes me and Camila surprised.

"Mila, can Shawn live with us? Pleaase?" she begged,

"Huh? What?" Camila responded,

"Yeah, can Shawn live with us?" Sofi said as she gave her pouted face,

"Umm, what about that, Shawn? For me, I don't know," she said,

"Whyyy? Pleaase," Sofi still begged,

"I would like too," I said,

"Shawn said yes, please Mila, pleaaase," Sofi said,

"Okay, sure," Camila said,

"Yeaaay, thank you, Mila!" she said as she hugged Camila,

"I gotta bring some of my things from my apartment, who wants to join?" Shawn asked,

"Me! Me! Me!" Sofi yelled,

"Hahahaha, good girl," I said as I kissed her head,

After we spent our evening at park which is really fun, we decided to go home and take some rest.

a/n: you know whaaat? i love this part so much! i mean, can you imagine shawn playing with kids and it's just beautiful. he is totally husband material and camila is wifey material.

i love how shawn playing with sofi like it's very cute damnnn me luv it so much. well, i'm gonna leave this part so i hope you like it as much as i liked this part, love you :)
