Shawn

I took a shower which is very good and I can finally freshen up my mind now. I loved being here, but, Mom texted me that I really have to go home for a long time.

I decided to walked out from my room and planning to talk about that with Camila and make sure that Sofi didn't know about this bad news.

I jogged down to the kitchen and saw Sofi is getting ready for school and Camila is preparing Sofi's breakfast.

"Good morning, guys. Sorry, I'm late," I joked,

"Shawn!" Sofi hugged me,

"Hey, little girl," I said,

"Can you take me to my school?" she asked as we pulled away from our hug,

"Hmm...." I said as I gave her my thinking face,

"Pretty please," she begged,

"Okay," I said as I smiled to her. Camila just shook her head and smiled to us.

"Okay, you might be late now," Camila said as she looked to the clock,

"Bye, Mila! Love you!" she said as she kissed Camila's cheek,

"You're not coming?" I asked,

"No, I'll stay," she said,

"Okay," I said and smiled to her. It feels so awkward to be like this, I mean she was supposed to be my girfriend and now we're just friends and I felt like strangers.

"Goodbye, Sofi! See you," I said as I kissed her head and she nodded,

"Bye, Shawn," she said and waved her hand to me and went out from the car,

She looks really happy like there's no sadness in her mind. I know this is gonna be hard for her when she found out that I'm not in her house anymore.

I can't believe that this is happening to me, I can't believe that I really have to go and leave Camila and Sofi, the people that I really loved.

As I arrived at the house, I walked in and saw Camila cleaning the kitchen. She looked so busy at that time but I really need a bit of her time.

"Camila, can we talk? Just a little bit," I said,

"Um, sure. About what?" she asked,

"About me leaving Miami in 4 hours," I said,

"Wait what? You're leaving, oh my God. No! You didn't think about Sofi at all?" she panicked,

"I did! I did, Mila! I know, I actually didn't want to go back to Canada like now but my family need me, I really have to go," I said,

"Oh no, I can't see Sofi to be crazy anymore, I don't want her mental health is going down again," she said as she looked down,

"We probably can talk from video call like we used to in the past?" I suggested,

"I don't think that it would be enough for her, but give her a try, I hope it would work," she said,

"Yeah, I hope so," I said,

"So, you're leaving now?" she asked,

"Yeah, I'm sorry, Mila," I said as I leaned in to kiss her. Surprisingly, she didn't walk away from me.

We finally kissed again and I felt so many sparks that we usually felt like from the first time we kissed. I actually don't want to leave her at all, but I have to do this.

"Say Sofi that I really love her, okay?" I said as I cupped her cheeks from pulling the kiss, she nodded.

"Promise me you will back here and meet us again?" she said as she looked into my eyes, deeply. I can see so many darkness and sadness from her eyes.

"I can't promise but I will try," I said,

"Why? Why, Shawn?!" she said as she held her tears,

"I just can't, Camila. I'm so sorry," I said as I wiped her tears with my thumb softly as her tears streaming down her face slowly,

"Just leave, Shawn. Leave," she said as she pointed the door, asked me to go from her house.

I brought my suitcase and walked to the outside. I looked back to her and she jogged to the upstairs. I walked out from her house and waiting for the taxi to come.

"I hate you, Shawn! I fucking hate you!" she yelled from her room which I can exactly hear her,

I felt so wrong about this. I just can't do this but I really have to. I got in to the taxi and leaving her house.
