Naruto: Dreams Unraveled

Luckily and unluckily for me I had no more dreams. Lucky because I didn't know what I was going to say or promise, unlucky because it was the only time I could actually see. But I did get another four and a half hours of sleep in. If I was a cat, I would be purring. I mentally giggled as I got up stretching, then began to get ready.

It was the same as always: take off the bandages, take a shower, get dressed, brushed-dry-fix my hair, and brush my teeth. After putting on my head band I walked into the kitchen and picked up an apple, deciding to eat light. With that I was out the door and leisurely walking around aimlessly to find Kakashi. I eventually found him at the book shop. "Doing some shopping Kakashi?" I asked. He jumped before turning to me with a sweat drop, "Just a little." BUSTED! "So you already need another book? I thought you would have been stocked with Jiraiya's books by now," I replied. He went rigid for a moment before he chuckled, "I don't know what you're talking about." "You buy me sushi later and this never happened," I bargained. "Deal," Kakashi promised. I smirked as he purchased his findings and we headed to the training field.

Once there I heard Kakashi greet them with, "Good morning!" and Naruto and Sakura greet back with a, "You're late!" Naruto continued with, "I thought you were right behind me, Holota?!" "I was," I answered, "Five hours and ten minutes later." Uchiha just remained quiet as usual.

After things settled down, Kakashi made us follow him to an open training field and set a clock on a stump, "Alright, it's set for noon." It was then I heard a jingling sound... One, two, three bells. "Here I have three bells, your task is to get a bell from me before noon. If you don't get a bell by noon, then you go without lunch. I'll not only tie you to one of those stumps but I'll eat in front of you," Kakashi explained. "Aren't you cruel," I commented. "It seems you're not hungry, Holota. Didn't Naruto tell you not to eat this morning?" Kakashi asked. "If a ninja doesn't eat and fuel up before a mission then they're practically useless to the team. Sorry, Kakashi, but no breakfast doesn't fly with me," I stated, crossing my arms. I could sense Kakashi smile, "Good." The other's were confused out of their minds as why I was being praised. Did they seriously not get it?

Kakashi then continued, "You only need to get one bell. There are only three, so one of you will definitely be tied to a stump. And... the person who isn't able to get a bell fails and will be sent back to the academy." Pressures on then. "You may even use any of your ninja tools. You won't succeed unless you come at me with the intention to kill." "But you'll be in danger!" Sakura protested. "You're so slow you can't even dodge a black-board eraser!" Naruto added chuckling out loud, "We'll kill you!"

"In the real world, those who bark the loudest often have no talent. Ignoring Mr. Dead Last, we'll start when I say-" An irritated Kakashi cut himself off to immobilize a ticked off Naruto. My brother had pulled a kunai as Kakashi had then pulled it behind his blonde head faster than any of the three could imagine. I could keep up with it just fine due to all my training with Kisuka. Uchiha and Sakura had moved as I continued to stay in my spot.

"Slow down, I haven't said start yet. At least you're coming at me with the intent to kill," Kakashi was now back to his cool self as he chuckled, "Seems like I'm beginning to like you guys." There was another pause as they got ready and I just gave a smirk. "No let's get going... Ready?" Another pause, "Start!"

With that we were all off... except for Naruto who didn't move, challenging Kakashi then and there. Uchiha was up in the trees just a little ways away from the tree I was in, as Sakura hid within a bush. I chose a tree because it covered more, and it took the enemy a little longer to get to you. I was also perched a little higher up than the Uchiha, seeing as that if Kakashi found me, the branches near the top section I was in couldn't hold his weight.

I heard Naruto throw an insult about Kakashi's weird hair cut... So now I had to imagine Kakashi as a handsome Phantom with half an Anbu mask and a funky hair cut? I shook away the thought when I heard Naruto get knocked back and Kakashi pull out his new perverted book. I mentally face palmed.
