I woke up to my cozy blankets and Naruto running into my room, "Where were you last night?!" I yawned as I sat up, "With Shika, Choji, and Nanami at Doragon Unagi and after I took a walk to get some fresh air." I technically wasn't lying.

I didn't want to tell Naruto about Gaara just yet. Mainly because I knew Shigusa had a calming effect on Shukaku whether he was free or sealed away, and from what Gaara has told me, Shukaku is quite blood thirsty and isn't to be messed with. This only meant that Gaara wasn't stable yet. Whatever had happened to him hadn't been good, which I can only imagine, and it must have been worse than what Naruto and I went through. But we were going to see if he'd let me walk with him around in public today.

When Naruto and I were little, we got those looks that were filled with hate and fear. The people of the village would shun away from us and would have nothing to do with us. We couldn't go anywhere without those looks. Even though people didn't and still don't know about Shigusa, they gave me looks too, just because I was his twin sister. But once I managed to heal some badly wounded older ninja that weren't able to make it straight to the hospital, I healed them ASAP, and managed to prove that I was one of them. It took some time, but once everyone found out that I was the prodigy child, a student to the Yoshigawa, and a dear friend to the head of the Uchiha family, I became quite admired. Naruto was happy for me, but I still never left his side, which made him even happier.

"Oh, well as long as Shikamaru was with you. Anyway we're supposed to meet Kakashi at the bridge today. We need to hurry up and get ready or we'll be late!" Naruto informed. Did I mention Naruto thought Shika and I were going to one day fall in love and get married? Well, he did. I guess it was because we were such good friends and hung out often. But as I said before, he was more of another brother than anything.

"When are we supposed to meet up with him?" I called as he rushed out of my room. "In ten minutes!" Naruto replied. "What time is it now?" I pressed. "6:50!" That wasn't so bad, but still, I wasn't about to sit around for three hours. My thoughts actually went straight to Gaara.

Last night he had walked me home, so he'd know where to find me if he needed anything. I also returned his sand, so I wouldn't keep having to hold it in a bracelet state. It was good practice, but I still didn't know how to completely control it yet (not that I told Gaara this just yet). We had made the plan for us to meet up at some time today so I could show him around the village.

I found it cute that Gaara was able to be a little more of himself around me, that and Shukaku was able to trust me too. With Shukaku calm, it left room for Gaara to be more himself and human. Gaara wasn't very talkative, but it seemed he had a lot to say or at least wanted to at least try and carry on a conversation that was more than three words per reply. Being that Shukaku was left calm, made Gaara calm... so if the Tanuki trusted me, Gaara obviously trusted me.

I just smiled as I made my way into the bathroom as Naruto came out. "Why are you so smiley?" Naruto mused. "No reason," I answered, still smiling. I did my regular routine, but with the bandages on of course, and got ready for the day within five minutes. Once I was ready Naruto was already out the door as told him I was right behind him. It wasn't even a few minutes later that I sensed Gaara on top of my roof and I was heading out my window to join him.

I was pretty surprised that Gaara let me show him around. We had a small and quite breakfast at Doragon Unagi and then headed out for the morning. I wasn't all too surprised when he pulled me into an ally to hide from his siblings Temari and Kankuro, who were also his teammates. I just giggled at him as he put on his bad boy act, but he didn't mind as long as his siblings didn't find out for some reason.

Once they had passed I continued to give Gaara the tour of Konoha. I gave him the best places to shop for food, the best restaurants they had to try while they were here, the blacksmith in case they needed weapons sharpened or repaired, the weapons shop, the hospital, the Hokage Building, the hot springs, and a few of the training fields they could use while they were here. Needless to say he was very surprised that I could tell him where everything was as I was, in fact, blind.
