Why Prodigies are Prodigy

Once everyone got over my 'little stunt' we continued on until we got to our destination. "Welcome to the Forest of Death!" Anko announced. "A living hell," I added. "Stop spoiling it!" Anko growled. I just chuckled, walking back over to my team. "What was that for?" Uchiha snapped once I reached him. "For trying to get info on me earlier. Do it the right way from now on, ok?" I nonchalantly asked. He just growled. "This place is creepy," Sakura commented. 

I thought this to be the perfect time to take a pain pill for my headache as Anko explained the next test. But my headache couldn't go fast enough before Naruto mouthed off and Anko tossed a kunai cutting his cheek, and holding him captive. I then froze as a Grass Ninja came up with a very long tongue. His chakra was larger than mine and Naruto's put together. I literally trembled, and quickly pulled myself together. This guy was not a Genin!

After releasing Naruto and the other guy trotted off, Anko passed out release forms just so she couldn't be held responsible for any kind of deaths. She then explained the rules of the scroll battle and the terrain of training ground 44, also giving us a time limit of 5 days. We then got our scroll, handing in our forms, as Konohamaru came in at some point to get an interview with the academy paper as I just gave him a few quotes. Nothing special. We then headed to gate 12 as we just waited for the second half to start.

"Begin!" Anko shouted as the gates bust open and we all leapt in, ready for hell to break loose at any moment. We suddenly stopped as we heard screaming. "It's begun," I breathed out.

"Hey, Holota," Uchiha spoke up, "you mentioned this place to be a living hell... Have you been here before?" I turned to him, "I have when training with Kisuka. This place is hell on its own, and now that we have competition, it's going to be worse." "But that means you must know the layout, right?" Sakura asked. I smirked, "I do indeed." "Great! We'll get around with no problem, and with your senses, it will help us detect other ninja before they get to us!" Naruto smiled, before he paused, "I have to pee!" He ran a short ways off before Sakura punched him, "Not here where there's ladies present! That's gross! Do that in the bushes!" He just chuckled as he went off.

But before long I heard, 'Holota! It's not me!' and a different ninja came to us with Naruto's voice, "Ah, that felt great! I was able to write my entire name!" At that, Uchiha punched the guys face, as I punched him hard in the gut sending him flying. Sakura gasped as the fake landed, "You guys didn't have to go that far!" "What the hell, you guys?!" the imposter shouted. "Where's the real Naruto?" Uchiha demanded. "What are you saying all the sudden?" the Rain ninja went on. I got down on their level, "You don't smell anything like him. Your headband says differently too," I lowly commented so my teammates couldn't really here. He was surprised. I then jumped off to find Naruto as Uchiha replied with, "Your holster is on the left, Naruto is right handed. And what happened to that cut on your cheek he got before the exam? You're a looser whose worse than Naruto at transforming!"

I quickly found Naruto as Uchiha's battle begun. "Thanks!" Naruto smiled. "No problem, but we need to help Uchiha," I replied quickly, "You even missed him complement you." "Did he really?"Naruto beamed. "Well, in a way," I replied, sweat dropping. At that moment Naruto and I entered the scene as I remained in the shadows listening. Once Uchiha stabbed the phony, the Rain ninja fled as we then gathered. There were more ninja below us as I signaled to the Uchiha. He nodded and replied, "Next time if we get separated and we come back into contact we can't trust them. Even if it's one of us. This could happen again." "Then what do we do?" Sakura asked. "We create a password," Uchiha simply replied. "You're kidding right?" I huffed. "No. If they get the password wrong, assume they are the enemy," Uchiha explained.

I felt dumb... as I suddenly figured out why he was using this method. "Ok, listen, because I'm only going to say this once. The Question is, 'When does a ninja strike?' the answer is, 'A ninja waits until the time is right, when the enemy sleeps and drops his guard, when his weapons lie still in the darkness of the night, that is the moment for a ninja to strike.' Got it?" Sakura nodded. "Yeah, yeah, sure," I played it off. As the enemy suddenly moved. "You got one a little shorter?" Naruto asked. I mentally laughed. "No, that's it," Uchiha grumbled. "Really, I memorized it just fine!" Sakura huffed. "Yeah, I got it. But I thought it was going to be a password not pass-speech," Naruto complained.
