My hopeful mood hadn't lasted long when I was told that the Third was killed. I was taking it harder than Naruto was. At the ceremony I had barely been able to keep it together as I was only able to hug Konohamaru to comfort him. The poor child... he really looked up to the old man. As did we all. Naruto had been hopeful by the end of it, saying that his loss wasn't in vain. The Third's death really wasn't... he had saved us from the wrath of that snake, Orochimaru.

I was now wondering about the village that was now being rebuilt as people wondered up and down the streets as they usually did. It wasn't long before I ran into a familiar face, "Holota?" It wasn't the person I was wanting to run into, but for some strange reason, the icy mint didn't bother me as much as it usually did. "Oh, hey, Uchiha," I replied rather nicely. He gawked his head for a moment but shrugged it off, "Umm... can we talk?"

Now here I was, sitting with Uchiha in the Sakura tree forest. It wasn't awkward, but rather comforting. "So what did you want to talk about?" I asked calmly. He was surprised I was actually being so soft around him, but he just replied anyway, "Why did you help him?" "Are you seriously still salty about that?" I asked then sighed, "Then again, you're not one to drop things are you?"

He just huffed as he turned his head the other way. "I helped him because he was my friend," I replied honestly. "But he's not from Konoha," Uchiha shot back. "Who cares whether he's from Konoha or Suna... Heck! I could care less if he's even from the Land of Snow," I snapped back. Uchiha just gave me a glare.

"What? Jealous?" I asked raising an eyebrow. "Why would I be jealous of him?" Uchiha growled. I just let the answer roll off my tongue, "Because he has me and you don't." He just glared at me as he then turned his head sharply away as his bangs tangled in the wind.

It was quiet before I spoke up again, "Why do you not like him?" He then turned back to me, "Holota, he tried to destroy the entire village. He tried to hurt you! Besides, he's different! You saw what he turned into!" He rashly answered. "No, Shukaku, his tailed beast within him, tried to destroy the village; he never tried to hurt me," I simply replied. But Uchiha wasn't taking my word for it at all, but seemed to debate my word or his conscience.

He seemed to be in thought a moment longer before he spoke up again, looking me dead in the eyes, "How do you possess the Sharingan?" I sighed, knowing this was bound to come up at some point, "My donor had it." He seemed confused, "Who was your donor?" I just shook my head and acted bummed out, "I don't know, I wish I knew. They were anonymous after all." "So, they were an Uchiha?" He pressed. "I don't know, Uchiha, it could be and underlined genetic from another branch that wasn't activated till after the procedure. Or there could be a secret organization of Uchiha elders that have been lying in wait and wanted to grace me into the blood of the Uchiha. Or maybe even the medical core has saved eyes they store away... eh, that one actually sounds a little creepy," I rambled.

The Uchiha just half heartedly smiled a smile I hadn't seen in a while. I turned to smile at him as I laughed. He then wiped the smile away from his face as he then became confused, "What's so funny?" I calmed down as I then looked him straight in the eyes softly, "I saw Sasuke again."

He was surprised by my answer, but just smiled, "So does that mean you're going to call me by my first name again?" I got comfortable as I placed my arms behind my head as I also crossed my legs leaning back, "I said saw, not see." He just gave that flat pouty face of his. I then smirked, closing my eyes, catching his attention, "But, I may consider it... if you stop being a prideful douche bag with an attitude problem and actually be nice to my brother." I could almost hear the insults slamming into his ego as I just smirked.

I then opened my eyes and looked down, now placing my hands in my lap, as I spoke to him seriously, "Hey, do me a favor?" He turned to me with interested eyes. "Don't tell anyone about my Sharingan... I don't want the world or the village to know just yet," I replied. "Why?" Uchiha asked. "I don't want any extra attention on me, besides, who's to say it will last forever?" I answered.
