Pulling Out all the Stunts

After I had thanked Gaara again and after he had gone, I had to explain to a sudden protective, young Uchiha that the Sand Genin saved my clumsy blind self from falling. He still didn't take it though. I was just lucky he didn't tell Naruto. Otherwise I'd never hear the end of it and he would of ended up dead for annoying Gaara about not coming near me again. Let's just say Uchiha was now being cautious and 'watching out for me'.

We were now heading up to get registered for the Chunin Exam as Sakura seemed a little more depressed than normal. But as we approached our meeting room, I automatically knew we weren't in the right spot. They must have placed a Genjutsu, which doesn't affect the blind; considering it's an illusion jutsu.

I felt five familiar chakras, out of a medium crowd, as I also heard an advancement on the guards, who where Chunins in disguise most likely. I mean, it was only Izumo and Kotetsu. They weren't too much of threat. The boy who had advanced on the two Chunin was suddenly smacked back as the duo replied with, "You plan to take on the Chunin Exam with that?" and, "You should quite now."

The boy who had advanced and who was now on the floor went by the name of Rock Lee. I had mentioned Lee before, being the only one who could possibly keep up with my quick step... well, him and his creepy sensei. His other teammates stood behind him. A girl by the name of Tenten, who specialized in weapons, and Neji Hyuga, Hinata's older cousin. They were all a year older than us ten rookies, but I had got to know them all through training.

Neji help Lee up as Tenten tried to get the duo to move, "Please, let us through." But all Kotetsu did was smack her hard across the face. They then went into a little speech about how this was their way of being kind and that the Chunin Exams would be much worse. They were right no doubt. I then spoke up mockingly, catching the attention of the room, "Still, you didn't have to hit a girl. So ungentlemen like." They both turned to me as Izumo chuckled, "Well, if it isn't the prodigy child of the Leaf? This year's exams just might be interesting after all." "Holota!" Tenten smiled, grateful I had shown up.

"Will you just let us pass? And drop the Genjutsu, we're going to the third floor," Uchiha demanded coolly. I was seriously surprised that Sakura still hadn't fangirled yet. We got confused murmurs out of the crowd that was clearly clueless. "So you noticed?" Izumo asked as he released the Genjutsu. "Sakura, you must have known all along right?" Uchiha turned to the girl, "I mean you're the most analytical ninja on our team." Apart from me, she was. "Oh, right! Of course I did, I noticed awhile ago. We're headed to the third floor, this is only the second," The pink hair girl finally smiled. And she still had yet to fangirl! Which I was seriously in awe.

Kotetsu then attacked Uchiha as Lee jumped at blinding speed between the two, catching their blows with either hand. Kotetsu was as dumbfounded as Uchiha and everyone else was surprised. I mentally laughed.

"Hey," Neji addressed Lee, "What happened to the plan? You were the one who said we shouldn't draw attention to ourselves." "Well..." Lee started, but something else caught his attention. I didn't realized it was someone instead of something till he walked over to Sakura, "Hi, my name is Rock Lee, and you must be Sakura?" It then got dramatic, "Be my girlfriend? I promise I will protect you for as long as I live!" "No way! You're lame!" Sakura objected. Lee sulked against the wall as Naruto seemed to be happy about the response. Poor Lee.

"Hey, you," Neji caught Uchiha's attention, "What's your name?" "I'm not obliged to answer," The raven responded, quite prideful. I was seriously wanting to place paper bombs on the bottom of my teammates shoes, Lee could have done without the lame comment from Sakura and Uchiha didn't have to be so rude... Then again neither did Neji. So I could have gone with placing paper bombs on everyone's feet except Tenten. For Naruto, it would just be funny to get a reaction.
