Don't let go ~ Miggie

Chapter 1

Liv's POV

Finally we're in break, I waited for this since forever! Maddie and Diggie were playing basketball in the back yard like always and Joey helped Parker dig more 'Parker tunnels'. So basically, a normal day in the Rooney household.

I just paint my nails done as I heard something very loudly coming from our backyard so I quickly looked outside the widow, but all I saw, was Maddie and Diggie staring at each other. I watched them for a bit and smiled, I really think they would be so cute together but I guess they're just way to shy to say each other what they're actually feeling, bc it's pretty obvious they like each other a lot. I really gotta do something about that!

Maddie's POV

Diggie and I were as usual playing basketball in the back yard, until we just awkwardly stared at each other. I really like him and I actually think he knows that, and I really hope he feels the same way and does not just see me as his cool pal or something like that!

As much as I love basketball, I honestly would love to do something different with Diggie for once tho. "You know what, I'm kinda cold. I'll just go and get a hoodie.", I said. "Oh hey, take my jacket, I'm actually pretty warm.", Diggie said. He looked so incredibly sweet while saying this. Ugh, who am I kidding? He always looks cute! "No it's okay, I'll just go and get my own one, I don't want you to get a cold because of me!", I replied. "Thats sweet of you but I really do think you should take mine. It's not like I can't watch out for myself, and am 12 years old.", He said and grinned a bit. "Okay.", I innocently mumbled.

Diggie's POV

Maddie is like the cutest girl I've ever met, I'm so sad we're just friends but I think I am also a bit shy to do the first big step. After I gave her my letterman jacket there was an awkward silence, so I wanted to say something but in this moment Liv ran to us with apperently some exiting news. "Guess what, I just convinced our parents to make a family trip to the beach to have some hot and adventures holidays and Diggie comes with us. I mean if u want to obviously."

I think I just misunderstood Liv! Spending Holidays with Maddie?! Is she kidding? I must be dreaming badly! "Diggie?", Liv said. I think I just needed some seconds to start thinking clearly again. "Um yea, sounds cool!", I said. I tried to act 'cool' but actually I am so freakin nervous! "When are we driving?", Maddie asked Liv. "Tomorrow. Also, could anybody tell Joey and Parker? Im really stressed because I didn't start packing yet and it's already 2.30pm." "Yea sure.", Maddie replied. "Thank you!", Liv said and run into the house.

Maddie's POV

I still cannot believe I'll go on holidays with Diggie. I tried to act it cool so he doesn't notice I'm excited as hell. WAIT! We're gonna go to the beach so he'll see me in bikini! Omg I can't do this! What if I'm fat, naah I'm not I guess. I mean I do sports everyday at least two hours, I suppose I'll be alright. Diggie was still standing next to me and there was this awkward silence again between us. "I should better go home, I still have to tell my parents and go packing.", Diggie said. "Okay, so see ya tomorrow... I suppose.", I said. "Yea, bye Rooney." "Bye."

Hey, so this is my first chapter and I have to be honest with y'all. I've got huge inspiration by another Miggie story but I don't know who the story wrote bc I would have given credit. My story has a similar beginning tbh, but I did make my own out of it. If ur the person who wrote it, I wanted to say thank you so much! Like I already said I can't find the original one anymore bc I think it's been deleted. I hope y'all like it tho!
