Don't let go ~ Miggie

Chapter 11

Liv's POV

As dad stood up, I did too. Not because I thought it was all to much to me, it's actually the right opposite, I'm more into 'Miggie' than anybody else, but I really gotta talk to dad.

I watched out for dad as I suddenly got a flash back. When I was 9 years old, dad and I walked along the beach and talked. He said the beach was one if his favorite places ever, because he loves the sound of the ocean, it calms him down.

I ran to the beach as I recognized dad sitting on a rock at the beach with his head in his hands. I walked towards him and sat down next to him.
"Dad, what was that all about?" I asked.

"My little girls are growing up so fast. One just ended a hit tv show as a leader" he made a little break and I had to chuckle a bit, "and the other one already used the 'L' word for a boy"

Dad let out a sigh. "I know you're going through a rough time because Maddie and me now, but you know, us growing up hasn't to be that awful for you. We'll get more responsibly and take better care of our phones so you don't have to buy us a new one every year. Or, we'll more often help in the household. It does have his positive parts. And besides, Diggie is a good guy. He doesn't cause any problems and he's very protective. He'll be great to Maddie, I really think this will work out amazing. He makes her happy and seeing my twin sister like that means everything to me. Just do me that favor and be good to Diggie as well. He's not indecent at all and deserves all the respect we can give him now" I said.

"Yea you're probably right Liv. I should just enjoy watching my girls grow but let them live their own lives. Thank you very much for cheering me up" Dad said. I mumbled a 'always' and hugged him very tightly. "Shall we go back?" I asked. "You go, I'll stay here for a little while and enjoy the sound of the water" Dad answered. I stood up and walked back to the fire place.

As I came back there were only Maddie and Diggie there, wrapped in each others arms. So cute. "Where are mom and the boys" I asked them. "They left too as soon as you stood up" Diggie answered. "Where?" I asked. "Mom was about to go sleeping and Joey and Parker went to their room" Maddie said. She didn't look up though, because she was in Diggies tight grip. He let go a little bit but they were still holding each other. They started to rub their nose against each other and Maddie gave him a quick peck on the lips.

Maddie's POV

I gave Diggie a quick peck as he gave me one too. I blushed so hard and became redder than a tomato. "We did this a bunch of times and I can still make you blush?" Diggie said/asked with a smile on his face. I looked down blushing even more as I said, "Yea". This was when I noticed Liv was gone too. She probably went back to the beach house. The fire was still burning and it was pretty romantic. "This is so romantic, even if it's not meant to be" I said. "Yea it is" Diggie said. I looked him in the eyes, deeply and snapped out. He looked me in the eyes too as we totally lost it.

A couple minutes later I suddenly snapped out of my thoughts and could think clear again, as I noticed I'm weirdly sitting on Diggie's lap. How did I come here? What happened in these minutes? How is it even possible for me to not know when I'm changing my position from sitting on a branch to sitting on my boyfriends lap? His arms were wrapped tightly around me and his chin was resting on my shoulder since I did not face him. "Diggie?" I said. I felt him shaking the head a little realizing he lost his mind too. "Huh? How did you get here?" he said. "I have no idea but I'm really sorry" I said, trying to stand up again but I got stopped. "No, don't go. I like having you on my lap" he said. I giggled a bit as I sat down again.

We stayed like this for a pretty long time as Diggie said, "it's getting really late we should go back soon". "Yea you're right. Just one more minute" I said. Diggie chuckled a bit as he tightened his grip on me a bit, not squeezing me though. After like two more minutes we finally stood up. Diggie held my hand and we were walking back to the beach house, taking the way that leads along the ocean. It was beautiful.

We stopped on our way home to look at the stars above the ocean and just watched it for a few more minutes. It was silent until Diggie turned me around, me facing him and smashed his lips on mine. I instantly kissed back as I smiled through it, so did Diggie. We kept our lips together for a whole while, I actually think it was the longest kiss we've ever had before. We slowly pulled away as we smiled at each other. He gave me a quick kiss on the forehead and then on my cheek. I had to blush a lot though.

We soon got back home and since it was pretty late, we decided to just go sleeping. The others were already in bed so we had to be quiet. We walked up stairs holding hands, as I gave him a quick peck on the lips. "Good night Diggie" I added. "G'night mads" Diggie said. I gave him a last smile as we both went to our rooms. I changed into my pj's and hopped in bed. I fell asleep smiling, thinking about Diggie.

Okay so I kinda feel weird. Does anybody even like this book? Cause I don't get a lot feedback and it makes me kind of unsure. So please tell me if u want this story to continue.
