Don't let go ~ Miggie

Chapter 5

Maddie's POV

I woke up to birds singing and sun in my eyes. I looked to the other side, seeing Liv is still asleep. I grabbed my phone and saw it was only 6am so I decided to go and take a shower and trying not to wake Liv up. I took some clothes out of the closet and went to Liv and my bathroom. I went in the shower and after 5 minutes I came out again. I did not wash my hair since I did yesterday, but I braid them into two dutch braids.

I dressed myself and put on very light and simple make up. I added some mascara and put on my glasses. After I was done with everything, I walked down stairs trying not to wake anybody up and went straight to the kitchen. Wow, this house is huge, sometimes I even forget that by myself. I walked to go to the living room and saw Diggie sitting on the couch.

"Hey", he said as he noticed me. "Hey", I said back. Should we talk now? "Um Diggie I think we sould talk", I said. "Yea I think we really should" he said. "Maddie about yesterday, I really don't know why I did that... I guess I just went crazy because I really like you and-" I cut him off. "You like me?" I asked him giving a small smile. "Yea I do, but look, I can control my feelings and just forget them. I don't wanna make things awkward between us" he said. "You don't have to" I said. "Maddie what do you mean?" Diggie asked giving a confused look. "You don't have to ignore your feelings. I like you too Diggie" I said shyly. "Wait, you do?!" he asked while giving a small smile. "Yea of course, I mean I don't how long it's been since I liked you and I guess I've just always been way to shy to tell you" Isaid.

Diggie's POV

"Omg" was all I could say in this moment. I heard Maddie chuckle a little bit and she came to me sat on the couch. She brought her knees to her body and laid her head on my shoulder. I wanted to stay like this forever. I slowly wanted to put my arm around her but I wasn't sure if that is a good idea so I hesitate a little.

I finally got enough courage to do it. I saw Maddie smiling and blushing when I placed the arm in the edge of my eyes. I smiled a bit and so did she. She suddenly started to play with my fingers and I kinda liked it, I know this sounds weird but I did. We stayed like this for like 15 minutes as we heard some light foot steps.

Liv's POV

I tippy toed quietly the stairs down to make sure mom and dad don't wake up. Maddie isn't in her bed anymore I guess she's already down stairs. I walked into the living room as quiet as possible as I see Maddie and Diggie sitting on the couch together. My heart literally melted, that was the cutest thing I've ever seen in my whole life. I tried to not interrupt them but I guess it did not work.

They both jumped up and took their distance again. "No you guys, go back to cuddling or whatever you did right now I'll be gone soon, I'm gonna meet Josh!" they both laughed a bit and sit back down how they did before I came. "You guys are so cute together but I really gotta go now, I'm already late!" I said. "Bye" they both said. I grabbed my purse and walked off, to where Josh said I should meet him.

Maddie's POV

After Liv was gone I snuggled back into Diggie's chest and this time he wrapped both arms around me. I could feel myself getting redder and redder and I guess I looked like a firetruck. Like yesterday I tried to hide my face but Diggie said, "Don't hide yourself, You're so cute when you blush!", with this I went even more red and buried my face into his chest. He laughed a little and started to play with my braids. I love the feeling of our touch. Normally I don't like it when anybody tries to touch me but when Diggie does it, I like it.

"So what do you wanna do today?", Diggie asked. "Stay here and never let go", I said. Diggie smiled a bit as he said, "You know we should do something. We can't just stay like this for the rest of the day". I groaned as I sit up properly again to look him in the face, "We could go to the beach", he suggested. "Yea why not?", I said with not that much excitement. "You hungry?", I asked. "Nah", he replied.
"Well, I am and I'll be right back", I said. He laughed a bit as I walked off.

I came back with a bowl of cereals and a spoon. "Want some too?", I asked Diggie. "Not really, but thank you", he said. I shrugged and ate my breakfast. It still was pretty early so since the other one always sleep till who knows when, I'll hopefully still have some alone time with Diggie. Right now it is 7.30am and the other ones are still asleep, although Joey might read now but whatever.

I was all cuddled up to Diggie again and played with his fingers. We decided to go down to the beach at around 8.30am so we still had some time. We were talking about some random stuff when we both stared at each other for a while. My head was in his lap so I've automatically seen him without sitting up.

"Maddie, I really, really like you", Diggie said randomly after like 5 minutes staring at each other. I smile appeared on my face and I said, "I really, really like you too Diggie". He smiled a bit and placed a kiss on my forehead. Like expected, I blushed again, badly.
