I can't wait for tonight. I'm going out with Diggie, aargh! It was currently 5.30pm and he said I should be ready at 7pm. I'm so nervous and I guess you can tell. I'm in my room trying to put on my dress but it doesn't work because the zipper is stuck. Suddenly someone knocked on the door and opened it before I could say 'come in'. But it was Liv so she actually didn't even have to knock. "Hey Maddie, how you doing? Nervous?" she asked. "Yea wow, how could you tell?" I asked sarcastically. She giggled a bit as she said, "need some help?". "Yes please" I answered. She helped my zipping up my zipper and then she turned me around to face me. "I'll do your hair" she said.
"Thanks Liv. I really appreciate you helping me with everything, because it's all new for me, that dating stuff" I said. "Are you kidding? I've been dying to do your hair sometimes and help you out with outfits and make up!" she practically yelled, causing me to laugh. She started to curl my hair with a curling iron as I asked, "So Liv, what is actually going on between you and that Josh guy?". She had to giggle a little bit and I could see in the mirror her blushing.
"Well..." she said hesitating. "I like him a lot actually. I do think that this is more than just a flirt. He makes me laugh and he's a real gentleman. I've never felt this feeling I get in my belly when I'm with him, with other boys I dated. I'm just a bit shy to admit it..." she added. "Liv you gotta tell him! Where does he live anyways?" I asked. "I can't remember that well. I think it's something like 30 minutes away from Stevens Point" she answered. "DONE!" she yelled. I looked in the mirror and seen a beautiful braid hairstyle.

"Liv, this is insane! Thank you so much I really owe you a favor sometimes!" I said and hugged her tightly. "But don't think this convo is over yet" I added. She replied with a "Yes ma'am". I laughed a bit as she did too.
After Liv did my make up I went to walk down. As I stood in the living room, I took out my phone and saw it was 6.57pm so Diggie should be here every moment. With that he walked in the living room coming from the opposite direction I came from.
Diggie's POV
Once I saw Maddie my jaw dropped, I froze and snapped out. God she's so gorgeous, how could I be so lucky? I was totally lost and I think for a quick moment I pictured my future in my mind as Maddie was my wife and the mother of my children. I think I have to wait for my future though. "Diggie?" I heard Maddie quietly saying. That 'Diggie?' kept repeating in my mind as I could always hear it a bit better and louder. Suddenly I snapped out of my daydream and saw Maddie standing there beautiful as hell again.
"I'm so sorry, I'm back again" I said shaking my head. I heard her giggle a bit which a caused me to chuckle a bit too. "I think I could imagine a future with you too" she said. WAIT! Did I say that out loud? "Oh my gosh, that definitely wasn't supposed to actually come out of my mouth" I said. She laughed this time as she said, "it's okay. It's actually really cute though".
"Here, I bought you these" I said handing here the roses. "Aw thank you, how could you know these are my favorites?" she asked kinda surprised. "I have my ways. Also I wanted tell you that you look beautiful in that dress... Um, I mean you look beautiful in everything" I stuttered. You could tell, I'm really nervous. Maddie giggled a bit again as she said "I thought I'm the awkward one". I gave her a quick smile as she smiled back at me.
"Ready to go?" I asked her. "Yea" she answered sweet. I got her hand and looked down at her since she's a whole lot smaller than me. I saw her blushing like crazy which caused me to blush too. "We're going mom!" Maddie yelled. "Have fun!" she yelled from some direction. "Not too much fun!" Mr. Rooney practically screamed from another direction. I had to laugh a bit as did Maddie when we heard Miss Rooney yelling "Pete!".
We walked out of the door, hand in hand, as we went to the car. I've already planed everything but Maddie shouldn't know. "So, where we going?" she asked. "You'll see soon enough" I replied with a smile on my face. Maddie giggled a bit and nodded. I drove to the place I planed on to eat, near the park. Let's say, we might or might not have a romantic walk there later. I hesitated for putting a hand on Maddie's thigh but I finally did. I could feel her looking at me with a smile. She laid her hands on mine and began to play with them. Once we arrived I parked my car and opened my door. I practically ran around the car to open Maddie's door. "Uu, a gentleman" she teased. I had to laugh a bit as I took her hand again.
"Where are we going?" She asked. I smiled a bit as I kept walking "you'll find out soon enough" I replied.
