Don't let go ~ Miggie

Chapter 10

Diggie's POV

After the pizza arrived we ended up eating it in front of the tv. We watched some romantic drama/comedy. It was really weird mostly because it should show a disaster but yet it was still kind if funny and romantic. Maddie was snuggled in my chest and had tears in her eyes because she found it so funny. My shirt was completely wet lately because every time she had to laugh she buried her face in my chest and had to cry.

"You okay?" I asked her smiling.

"Yea it's just I am not used to such dumb yet funny movies like this is" she answered me laughing. I looked at her, watching tv and realized I've fallen for her hard. But like, really, really hard.

"You know what? Tomorrow I'm taking you out" I said. Maddie blushed a little which is so damn cute that I just wanna kiss her again, and said/whispered, "okay, where are we going?". "You'll see" I replied. She smiled a little and laid her head back in my chest being calm again.

Once Maddie started to laugh again she said almost out of breathe, "turn that off, turn that off!". I did like told and wrapped my arms a bit more around Maddie. She held on my arms and started to play with my fingers as someone interrupted us, "Okay lovebirds, get up and come outside, dad's making a bonfire" we both looked up at who it is and found Liv standing behind the couch. We hesitated a little as Liv said again, "Do I look like I'm joking? Get up!".

We did as told and walked hand in hand outside but we let go again when we saw the family, because nobody but Liv knows yet, were dating. "Well it's about time" Parker said. I chuckled a bit as I sat down on a tree branch next to joey. Maddie sat down in between Liv and Miss Rooney.

"Okay you guys, let's play a game" Joey said, more like suggested. "What game?" Parker asked. "Let's make like a mix between 'never have I ever' and 'truth'" he said. "And how do you wanna do that?" I asked. "Well, you have to hold up 10 fingers, like at the game 'never have I ever', but we don't do like things we've done before and not. Let's just ask questions we can answer with yes and no, and if you would have to answer these questions with yes, you have to put down one finger. Also we ask them to all of the players at one time" He said. "Okay, I'd play" I said.
"Let's do this" Maddie said.

All of us decided to join the game and we played for a very long time as we decided that the next round, is our last one. It's getting really dark outside as Liv asked us the question.

"Are you in love?"

Maddie started to blush a lot as we both coincidentally glanced at each other. Maddie stared to blush even harder (which was really cute) but I started to get red a bit too. I slowly put one finger down, don't want anyone to know, I am. I had to smile a bit as I noticed Maddie put one down too, but very deep down in me I was partying.

I noticed Miss Rooney kept watching us and smiled. I suppose lately she can tell we're secretly dating. All of the sudden Parker jumped up and halfway yelled, "Maddie and Diggie both put a finger down I want to know who they're talking about!". I've seen in the edge of my eye Liv giving herself a face palm which caused me to laugh.

"Well, there's this girl I like a lot, and I'm sure she knows it. She's really into sport but I found out she has a sweet and innocent side too. She has gorgeous eyes and every time I look at her, I start to get butterflies in my stomach".

I glanced over at Maddie, watching that no one sees me and she was blushing like crazy again. I heard Liv and Miss Rooney saying 'awe' and Joey and Parker just looked confused. Mister Rooney surprisingly backed up. I seriously don't know, why he doesn't care I'm dating his daughter, because I can tell he's guessing it. Well, better for me am I right?

"Well, there's this guy I know since a longer time now. He's a jock and plays basketball. He's my age and is very tall. He smells good and always makes me smile. I like him a lot and he's very protective but not too much tho. Also he's hearing every single word I say right now".

Maddie looked over to me and I smiled at her. I can't believe she practically told them who she means. Liv and Miss Rooney 'awed' again and I noticed Joey having a really shocked yet positively surprised look on his face.

"Wait are you guys saying they mean each other?!" Joey halfway yelled. Liv groaned and rolled her eyes. Miss Rooney just smiled. There was an awkward silence for at least 5 minutes, as I brook it. "Well, I do mean Maddie" I admitted.

Maddie's POV

Omg! He admitted us! He said it!

I blushed like crazy. "I mean Diggie" I said after a few minutes blushing which felt like days. Joey and Parker both gasped for air at the same time. Where are we, in a movie? "So that basically means, Maddie and Diggie are dating?" Joey said surprised. "It feels right" he added.

All of the sudden Diggie stood up walked towards me and sat down next to me. I felt him wrapping his arms around me and I held tight onto them. "I love you" Diggie said. WAIT DID HE SAY THE 'L' WORD?! DOES HE 'L' WORD ME? IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE TO 'L' WORD ME?
Tears fell out of my eyes hoping I did not miss understand him.

"I love you too" I said.

Once again Liv and Mom 'awed'. Suddenly dad stood up and walked away. I was kinda surprised and I can tell you would've noticed. We all were kind of frozen and shocked as Liv stood up and was gone in a few seconds.
