Don't let go ~ Miggie

Chapter 2

Maddie's POV

Today we're going on that vacation. Diggie asked his parents and they're okay with it.
I'm so super nervous and I guess you could tell. Right now it's 6.20am and we'll drive at 7am so we can still do something today. I'm lying on my bed and Liv is doing her makeup and sitting on bed too.

"You guys are totally adorable. You're the perfect match.", Liv said while applying her mascara. "What are you talking about?", I asked. "Duh, you and Diggie, who else would I mean?" "Liv, Diggie and I are just friends. Although I kinda like him, please don't tell him!", I said/begged. "Okay I wont but It's totally obvious he's also into you. I mean the way he looks at you tells me everything I need to know.", Liv said. "You think so?" "I know so!"

Diggie's POV

I just finished packing my stuff and texted Maddie.
D: Just finished packing. Be there in 20.
M: okay, see ya.
I didn't reply to that because I thought it's not really necessary. I go to the bathroom and take a quick shower. After I came out I checked my phone and it said 6.30am. I took my things, put them in my car and drive to the Rooney's house.

I rang the doorbell and heard footsteps running down the stairs. Maddie opened the door and I smiled at her a little. She smiled back, with this totally adorable smile I love so much. She looked at me and said "Hi Diggie." "Hey Mads.", I said and she stepped by side letting me in. "Diggie!", I heard Joey say, "I can't believe we'll spend the whole vacation together, we will have so much fun! This is gonna be so awesome!" 'Oh god, please no!' I thought by myself. I heard Maddie laugh a bit which made me chuckle too. She's so cute how am I supposed to get over this?

"Okay everyone, we should get going.", Miss Rooney said walking into the living room. "I'm sitting in the front in Diggie's car!", Joey shouted through the whole house. "This is not going to happen, you and Parker are coming with Dad and me. Liv and Maddie are going with Diggie in his car, if that's okay with you.", Miss Rooney said. "Yea of course", I said. Liv ran down the stairs and she wore this white dress with a gold heart locket around her neck.

Liv's POV

I'm so happy I can drive with Maddie and Diggie, that means no annoying Joey who can ruin a romantic moment between them. I will just sit in the back, put on my earbuds and listen to some music. I will probably sing along but that wont bother them, right? We all walked out of the house to the garage, put our suitcases in the car and sat in.

We've been driving since a half an hour right now and we still got 1 left. Maddie and Diggie seem like having a good convo so I don't wanna interrupt them in someway. As soon as well arrive I'll do something for these lovebirds, I mean like giving them a push because it would happen nothing if I would just be there and don't care.

Maddie's POV

Diggie and I were just talking about what we can do on our vacation. "We could also go to the mall one day." I said. "Since when do you like the mall?" Diggie said with a confused look. "I don't know it's just, we'll probably either play basketball or go to the beach the whole vacation long and I guess that's just kind of boring." "Yea I totally get you.", Diggie said. I looked in the back to see what Liv's doing but she was just dancing around the back seats.

"What's the first thing you wanna do when we arrive?", Diggie asked. "I don't know actually. Maybe checking out the town I never been again since a few years", I said, "what about you?" "Probably finding out where the nearest basketball court is", Diggie replied. I looked at him and he looked back at the road.

Okay this was probably the most boring chapter ever so ill update a bit sooner xx
