Don't let go ~ Miggie

Chapter 19

Maddie's POV

I woke up at pretty much 6am. To my surprise, Liv was already awake too.

"Morning Maddie," she said happily. I was kinda surprised that she was all happy already because she's definitely not a morning person normally. "Hey Liv, why are you already up and bubbly?" I asked her. "Well, since Josh asked me out for dinner, I have to decided what I'm gonna wear," she replied. "He asked you out? That's great! I really wanna meet him though, because I gotta make sure he's good enough for you," I said.

"I'm glad you said this, because I had the idea to go on a double date. You know I go with Josh and you could go with Diggie. He really wants to meet y'all too, and I am pretty sure the boys would get along well."

"Yea that would be a great idea! But don't you think you might should have your first date with Josh alone, without other company?" I asked. "Well, I am really nervous but I think I could enjoy the time more, when I know that you all like him and don't think you have to let me go out with a total stranger," she answered. "Good point," I shrugged.

"Well, but I still don't know what to wear though," she wined. "Okay winey, you still have a whole day to decide," I replied.

"Yea but still, I practically have nothing to wear. And especially not something to go out with. I didn't expect to find a guy here," she said. "What would you think about a twin day, and go shopping for the date tonight. We could just go to the mall and spend some time together," I suggested. Liv squealed which made me to cover my poor ears. "OM- wowza! Yea let's do this, I'm totally in."

After Liv and my chat I decided to go check on Diggie. I hushed across the hallway and knocked on his bedroom door. Since there wasn't an answer I opened the door and tippy toed to his bed. I knelt down and watched him a little sleeping peacefully. I know that sounds weird but I liked watching him because he just looked so adorable. I stroked him over his head and laid down beside him, cuddling myself into the sheet and his chest. I laid like this a while, as he suddenly grabbed me and pulled me close to his body. I turned myself to face him. His eyes were still closed and his breathing heavy. I suppose he's still asleep. I laid back down and closed my eyes again. All of the sudden, I found myself sleeping in his tight grip again.

I woke up again, in Diggie's bed. I blushed at the thought, that I just slept the first time in his grip. I turned around to face him. I rubbed my nose against his, and played with his hair, which fell perfectly in his face.
He slowly opened his eyes and smiled when he saw me. "Mornin'," he said in a groggy voice which made me giggle. "Morning," I replied. "How comes you're laying in my bed? Did I miss something?" he asked. I chuckled a bit. "No, I was just awake pretty early and after a talk with Liv I decided to check on you but you were still sleeping, so I just laid down next to you and fell asleep again," I answered. He smiled and tightened his grip on me.

"We should maybe get up it's already 10am," I said. "Yea, probably. What do you wanna do today?" Diggie asked, getting up and putting on sweatpants, because he only wore underpants, which caused me to blush. "Yea um about that. Liv asked me if you and I would like go go on a double date with her and Josh tonight. Apparently he wants to meet us and Liv said she would be happy to have us around her because she's still really nervous. Also she told me, that you and him will probably get along pretty well."

"Yea why not, it sounds pretty fun. But do you think it's okay for your mom when we're always gone?" he said/asked. "Well, it was supposed to be a family vacation, but since mom hasn't said anything I think she's fine with it," I replied.

I stood up and wrapped my arms around his neck. I gave him a peck on the lips and went down stairs to get breakfast.
