Don't let go ~ Miggie

Chapter 6

Diggie's POV

After 10 minutes more cuddling we decided to get up and pack our beach bag. The other ones were still sleeping, so we had to be quiet upstairs. Maddie went to her room and I went to mine. I changed into my swim trunks and some T-shirt. After changing and packing my other stuff I walked down stairs again.
After waiting 10 minutes for Maddie, she finally came down too.

"Well it's about time", I said. "Shut up", she said with a light smile on her face.

We walked down to the beach in silence and no one but some other girls where there. We placed our stuff on two lawn chairs and I took of my shirt. I saw Maddie checking me out and her jaw dropped. I laughed a bit as she started to undress herself.

Maddie's POV

As Diggie took of his shirt you could see his muscles and six pack. I felt my jaw dropping and I instantly tried to close my mouth again. Diggie laughed a little as I stared at him. I guess it's my turn now. I took of my shirt and since I already wear my bikini I didn't need a changing cabinet. I could literally feel Diggie's eyes on me and I didn't know how to act. I decided to make no biggie and took of my shorts. Once we were both undressed we stared at each other again but after a few minutes we snapped out of our thoughts.

"Wanna go swimming?", Diggie asked. "Yea of course", I replied. We walked to the water hand in hand. Once we stood in the water (but that it only came to our feet), I could feel a little push at my back. "This is it, mister!", I said/yelled and pulled Diggie into the water. "Oh, it's on!", he said and the water fight has begun.

We kept splashing and dunking each other for a pretty long time. Suddenly I could feel strong arms wrapped around my waist and once I realized it was Diggie he picked me up and spun me around. I started to laugh when he brought me back down to the ground he hugged me tightly. I hugged back obviously, and really enjoyed the feeling.

Once we pulled away Diggie smiled at me with the sweetest, hugest and cutest smile you could ever imagine. After we kept swimming a little bit we decided to get out of the water. I wrapped a towel around my shoulders and laid on the lawn chair. "I go get us something to drink", Diggie said and walked towards the beach bar.

I watched him ordering and in this moment those girls walked to him. I couldn't really tell because I've been to far away, but I thought they flirted with him. I got pretty mad, even though we weren't exactly dating but I still really liked him and he knew that. I stood up and walked to the beach bar, as I've seen those dumb girls who were actually flirting.

I walked beside Diggie and gave those beetches a dead look. Diggie laid his arm around my shoulders and these girls seemed pretty jealous. I gave them a small fake smile.

"Can I feel your muscles?", one if them asked. With a simply but clear "No", Diggie answered. "Okay, if ur not letting us because this girl next to you is your girlfriend, I'm more confuse than ever before. Why are you picking her when you could date me?", one of them asked. I rolled my eyes as I kept giving them a dumb glance.

"Um I think I'm gonna pass for that but great talk. Not really. I don't like you girls", Diggie said. I had to smile a little bit as he said this. He took our drinks and walked off, me following him back to our lawn chairs. "God these girls where dumb", he said.

Diggie's POV

"Yea, but you really didn't have to do this. You could go hang out with them if u want to, I'll be alright", Maddie said in a sad tone. "Are you kidding? Why should I go and hand out with 3 stupid sluts when I can hang out with the Mad dog Rooney?", I said. Maddie chuckled and blushed a little which made me smile too. God she's so adorable I wish I could just go and kiss her again.

These girls kept looking at me and It kinda annoyed me. I tried to ignore those glances at me and just lay back down. We layed in the sun for like 20 minutes in silence, as I decided to break it. "Hey are you hungry a little bit?", I asked Maddie. "Um yea actually I am", she replied."Great, so wanna go home again, or just go and grab something in the restaurant?", I asked. "Um, let's go home again, I don't really wanna pay something right now". "Home it is", I said.

We walked off as I slowly grabbed Maddie's hand. She looked up to me and I looked down to her as we both smiled at each other.
