Don't let go ~ Miggie

Chapter 8

Diggie's POV

Next morning I woke up on the couch still all cuddled up with Maddie. I had to smile when I thought about yesterday evening, we must have fallen asleep. I don't know if anyone has even came home since I did not heard anybody, but I'm pretty sure they have. I looked down at Maddie who still had her face in my chest and her arms half way wrapped around me. I wanted to stand up and take a shower but then I realized again , I couldn't.

Somehow I got me out of her grip though, and went upstairs to the bathroom. All bedroom doors were closed so I supposed everybody was still sleeping. I took a shower and washed my hair. After I came out I dressed myself and did my hair. I walked down stairs again and saw Maddie was still asleep. I walked over to the couch and went to sit down again, when Maddie finally woke up. She slowly opened her eyes and instantly gave me a smile. I smiled back and said "morning sleepyhead". She chuckled a bit, "Morning", she said.

"How did you sleep?", I asked her hoping for a positive answer. "Really good", she replied. I smiled. "Where are the other ones, still asleep?", she asked. "Yep, we're the first one. Oh and sorry If I woke you, I didn't mean to do that", I said. "Oh that's no problem. I shouldn't have fallen asleep on the couch, I should have went to bed like you did. Also why didn't you wake me up last night and told me to also go upstairs?", She asked. "Well first of all, I didn't want to wake you up, and second of all, I did not wake up either I slept here too", I said.

Maddie's POV

Wait woah, hold on! I slept on the couch with Diggie? I can't believe that! What if I snored, that would be so embarrassing! I covered my uncertainty and tapped at the spot next to me to show Diggie he should sit down there. He sat down and without saying a single word again, I wrapped my arms around Diggies neck and held him as tight as possible. He hugged back and it felt so good. I don't why, but with Diggie I can somehow control my shyness.

We let go a bit and just stared in each others eyes, when he pressed his soft lips against mine again. I didn't want them to leave. We made out for a while as we slowly pulled away. We both smiled at each other with a huge smile. I stood up and went to walk away when Diggie grabbed my wrist. "Hey, where you going?", he asked. "Getting ready to spend a day with my boyfriend", I said with a smile. He smiled back and said "well, in that case I'll let you go". I giggled a bit and went upstairs.

I walked quietly in my room to not wake Liv up. I grabbed some clothes out of my closet and went to the bathroom. I took a shower and washed my hair. As I came out again I dressed myself and dried my hair. I decided to leave it down today. After I was done with everything, I walked down stairs again as I see Liv was already in the kitchen grabbing some cereals. "Hey Liv", I said. "Hay Mads, so how did u sleep?", she asked with a smirk on her face. "Good", I answered with a smile on my face. "Well Maddie, are you too actually official yet, or are you still keeping your crush at each other secret", she asked. "Shht, don't be so loud he's already awake", I whispered/yelled. "Cool down, he went upstairs!".

"Well, we are official. Yesterday he asked me to be his girlfriend and after I said yes we cuddled for a long time. We both fell asleep in each others arms that's why I slept on the couch. Also we kissed again today and I really like him a lot!", I gushed. "I'm so happy for you two! I'm kinda surprised though I didn't have to give you a push. I mean that's why I organized this trip, literally I only did it for you two", Liv said. "Wait you only did that because of us? That's the sweetiest thing anyone has ever done for me! Although I'm kinda surprised Dad backed up. Like he hasn't said a single word about us and he just acted like he wouldn't care at all", I said. Liv shrugged and said "Yea but actually it's a good thing. And who knows maybe he will say anything though".

I only shrugged and walked out of the kitchen, to Diggie's room. I knocked at his door and he opened it with a huge smile. "Hello beautiful", he said. I had to giggle a bit as I said "Hey handsome". He let me in and I sat on his bed. "What have you been doing?" I asked. "I did some push ups", he replied. My mouth dropped a little as I closed it again "Woa, I didn't know you work out that often", I said. "Well, I do it sometimes. Actually I just play basketball a lot and work out every third day", He said.

"Well, what do you wanna do today?", I asked him. "I don't know, do you decide. I'm find with anything", he replied. "okay, so how about going to the mall?", I suggested. "Sounds good to me", he said. "You don't really want it, do you?", I asked him. "I want it, if you want it", he replied. "Aww", was the only thing I could say.

Time skip: at the mall

Diggie's POV

"Hey, Diggie!", Maddie said/yelled snapping me out of my thoughts. "Huh?", I said, she rolled her eyes and said "I was asking you if you like this dress". My jaw dropped when I realized that Maddie stood there in a red dress and looked so beautiful. "Yea you look beautiful. Uuh... I mean the dress looks beautiful, I mean... Sup?" blurted it out of me. Maddie giggled and said, "thank you".

Maddie wanted to walk out of the store when I grabbed her wrist and asked her "aren't you going to buy it, it's really pretty". "I really would but it's extremely expensive and I don't have the money right now", she said in a sad tone. "Well then, I'm going to buy it for you", I said. "Diggie you're really sweet but you don't have to , I tell you it's not cheap at all", Maddie said. "I don't care, I love buying stuff for you, and besides, I really wanna see you in this dress again, for at least one more time". "Well, I guess I can't talk you out". "Nope", I said. Maddie giggled a bit and I had to smile too.
