Maddie's POV
It's been two month since I woke up and and came home again. I've been back in school since seven weeks now, but right now I'm super stoked that it's already Friday again. My next and last class for today is german. I'm not bad at german, I'm actually pretty good.
I walked into german with my books in my hand and right in front of the classroom I bumped into Diggie whose last class is maths.
"Hey baby. We still on for the Miggie-movie night tonight right?" he said as he pecked my lips quickly.
"Yea totally. Oh, and is it okay if you could be my ride home today? Mom is at home because Parker is sick and Dad gives classes until 5pm today."
"Yea sure," he said, "I meet you after class at your locker, okay?"
"K, see ya," I said and gave him a last kiss, "oh good luck with maths," I giggled.
He just groaned as respond and I walked into class.
After class I walked to my locker to put in all my stuff. Diggie wasn't here yet so I looked at the pic of him and me, when we went ice skating two weeks ago, which hung in my locker. His goofy yet adorable face was kind of hidden in the hood of my jacket but I still loved the picture.
Diggie's POV
Our teacher let us go a couple minutes early so a friend of mine opened up to me about his relationship problems with his girlfriend. I didn't really care listening, i just wanted to get the minutes Maddie's still in class over with.
A few minutes later I walked to my locker and put down everything I don't need for homework at the weekend and grabbed my keys.
I walked towards Maddie's locker and tip toed to her. As I wrapped my arms around her from the behind I heard her giggling a little. She turned herself and pecked my lips.
"Hey Babochka," I said
"Babochka, how'd you come up with that one?" she laughed and asked.
"I don't know. Babochka is butterfly in Russian so I thought why not." I answered.
"Well okay," she laughed, "let's go."
In the car we turned up some music and sung to it. She actually has a really amazing voice, Liv could technically be jealous, but since I know it's not Maddie's I thing I just dropped it.
"Hey um, do you wanna come over now or should I pick you up later?" i asked as I turned down the volume a little.
"Um I don't know. I would love to come over now but I don't want to bother your parents if I show up so early."
"Oh I must've forgot to tell you. My parents are gone during the weekend. Some friends of theirs are marrying so they're gone for the wedding for four days because it's in California," I said, "and by the way, you could never bother me nor my family if you're at our house. They love you Maddie, they really do, but I'm a hundred precent convinced that nobody loves you more than I do."
Maddie's POV
"Awww you're so cute. But I love you even more. What about Artie though?" I said slightly annoyed reminding that these two are related. I mean seriously though, how could an oh so perfect guy like Diggie is, be the big brother of a jerky and geeky boy like Artie? I mean come on, for real?
"Apparently he's gone with his minions tonight. I actually don't really care where he's going to but I just know he's leaving around 6, so we just have to deal with him for the next two hours," Diggie said, warping his face.
I laughed a little at how cute he is when he makes his silly faces.
A couple minutes later we arrived the driveway to his house. I released my seat belt and opened the car door. I grabbed Diggie's hand and we walked up to the door where he opened it.
"Where home!" he yelled.
"Can't you see I'm trying to tell my minions a story dearest brother?" Artie yelled from the kitchen. Diggie in response only rolled his eyes which made me giggle a little.
He looked down to me and smiled, as I smiled back at him.
We went to the kitchen where Artie was eating something and his minions always wiped his mouth. Told ya, jerky brother.
"Already gone again," Diggie said as he opened the fridge and grabbed a water bottle.
We went to the living room where we could have our privacy a little. Diggie took a sip water and then held the bottle towards me offering it me. "Thanks," I said and drank a little.
"Wanna go outside and play basketball a little until Artie is gone?" Diggie asked with a goofy grin on his face. My eyes widened at his idea and I immediately yelled yes.
"Okay common little baby girl," he said and picked me up piggy pack style.
I wrapped my arms around him and kept kissing his cheek over and over again. Once we were outside we realized that it was freezing.
"Booo, it's cold, it's no fun to play like that!" I yelled and made a sulky face. Diggie just laughed at me, how offensive.
"We could also just get a coffee at Starbucks and talk a little. I just don't want you to be in the same house like Artie is, I feel sorry for you and don't want you to go through that. Living with him is like living with a skunk." I started to laugh heavily at Diggies speech.
"Yea coffee would be nice now," I said and he walked, with me still on his back, back into the house to grab his and my wallet and his keys.
Yo people, the next chapter will be the last one of this story. I really wanna take the opportunity and thank everyone who's ever even started to read this book.
