Chapter 19

Shock is an understatement to the thing that I was currently feeling at the moment. "Is this really possible?" Everything just felt surreal. This must be some kind of funny dream, a joke perhaps. But even though if this was a dream or a joke, why would it include the devil? Why would it include the worst person on Earth? Why would Caleb be part of it?

I was dragged out from the train of questions that overflowed my mind when I heard a sudden clearing of the throat. I was snapped out and realized that the whole time I was thinking – I was gaze-locking with the devil. I realized that I was under the spell of those mesmerizing emerald green orbs of no other than Caleb.

"Uhmmm what are you doing here? On my car?" Caleb asked all of a sudden which made me jump a little from my place.

"A-a-ah, I-I am so...so sorry." I stuttered as I tried as hard as I can to compose myself from the building tension.

"Sorry? Please answer my question. What are you doing here on my car?" Caleb asked for the second time as he emphasized the last three words.

I swallowed the lump on my throat and shook my head a little. "W-well, I t-thought that this is...my...my brother's...car." I lowered my gaze trying as hard as I can not to look at his eyes again. "b-b-but don't worry because...I uhm...gonna go now." I still stuttered and was about to move out from my position on the car seat when my phone beeped.

Fetching my phone on my back pocket, I unlocked the screen and a message popped on the screen.

Message:

Mason: Hey baby bro! I'll be staying at Chris' house tonight. Better expect me to come home tomorrow. Take care and don't even bother to leave sperm-marks all over the house. Haha :-)

I rolled my eyes at Mason's signature teasing messages kind of forgetting about the tension I was in. "So?" I nearly jumped off my seat as I heard Caleb spoke up. "Are you by any chance be staying here forever?" He asked quiet amused by the tension we were in.

I shook my head as the words been processed on my brain. I glanced to Caleb and noticed that he was eyeing me slowly. A muffled sound of the car seat was heard as I moved out of my seat. I slowly unlocked the car and opened it widely for me to go out with no hustle.

Moving a tad faster after the slow movement I had just executed, I heard a squealing sound of a woman on the front of a fancy-looking mansion. Woah! My eyes widened and my mouth hanged open at the sight of the very astonishing palace-like structure. It's not like I haven't seen any of this before because Skylar's a bit on a similar size as this one but their mansion are way bigger of course.

The squealing sound grew louder and the next thing I knew, I was locked on an embrace by what I had noticed was a woman. I was dazed by the sudden movement that the woman had executed. My gaze turned to Caleb's as he quickly moved out of the car as the sight on front of him came into view.

The lady released me and I was shocked at how pretty the specimen on front of me was. She was on her mid-forties with a still perfectly-fit body and curves all over her. She resembles a bit of Caleb's features from the nose to the lips and other facial forms. Their skin even looked identical.

"Mom, what are you doing?" The confused Caleb asked as his mother continued to give me a smirk.

"Well, that is very rude of you to not even bother to introduce this very adorable young man. God, I think he is the most adorable specimen I had ever seen. I can't even believe that faces like this exist." The woman let out an amused tone and my face flushed a hint of red as the words came out of her mouth.
