The Lancaster family were not like you're normal everyday family, in fact they were far from it. They were a family of shifters born and raised in all different walks of life; so it was actually no real surprise that when the newest little Lancaster arrived in the family, that more or less her life would already have a path written out for her to follow. However being born in July Isabelle was the youngest of the family; each member loved her in their own very special way, and she returned that love in her own very special way. However when Isabelle turned the age of five that was when they began to teach her all about the supernatural, knowing too well that they wouldn't be able to keep a secret like this away from her much longer. Especially since they knew one day she could possibly be tapped by the shifters, and she would need to learn and understand what they were.

So they took her out on a camping trip for her sixth birthday to a place only they knew about, and shifted into their forms showing her that there were many different shapes of the shifter. It was from there that Isabelle understood something her family was hoping too well that she could understand. It was since then since Isabelle told she understood that her family knew it was time. It was over those next few years that they taught her how the shifters first started, and of course they did teach her how to defend herself so that if she ever landed in trouble she would be able to get out of it unharmed.

It was only as the years went on and Isabelle started school; she knew that her future was more or less going to land her in the shifter clan, something which she didn't mind at first off because she knew that her family would be there to help her. But the more she thought about it the more that confidence soon turned into fear, unsure of if she even wanted to be a shifter, however, her two elder brothers soon reassured her. Something which surprised her considering they were always out doing whatever guys do. But now knowing that she had her brothers looking out for her she was more than happy, and they even managed to teach her how to keep the shifter secret as well as juggle both at the same time. Why would they help her? Yes maybe they were her brothers.

But they also knew that it isn't all that easy when it comes to mixing their lives; especially when you have people out there who maybe would like to expose you and cause trouble, and of course because they knew the closer it got to her eighteenth birthday that she would begin to feel like she can't cope. However none the less the brothers helped their sister and soon enough they found something which seemed to interest her, something outside of the shifters and something that would be able to keep her head hopefully on an easy level. She soon fell into the life of writing; being able to let her imagination run wild her family soon noticed the changes in her, not bad of course but creative for her being young she let her imagination take over so she was able to keep her secret in other ways.

Isabelle then continued to mix both her school life with her secret as if it was just one, and soon enough she began to make a few friends. However as the years went on Isabelle didn't understand why her friends were beginning to ask her questions, not only about who she was but about stories they had heard about supernatural families living within the city. This was something which soon set bells ringing in her ears; knowing she needed to warn her family she soon pretended to be sick so she could get out of school, and she rushed home telling her family what was happening they knew it was time to leave. Waiting until dark the family soon slipped away into the night and nobody ever seen them again in Atlanta.

It was as if the family had just disappeared of the face of the earth; but of course that wasn't true at all the family just did the best thing they could, moved around and kept themselves a secret from the world and that was how Isabelle grew up. Living on the back roads Isabelle soon started a little school in King County, Georgia, the town wasn't all that big far from it but it was home and the people were nice and always helped each other out. It was also the place where Isabelle met her first crush at the age of fourteen; he was a year older than her and his family were something like hers had to keep themselves hidden from the world, but of course Isabelle being who she was never bothered to ask as she knew she couldn't risk exposing herself or her family.

So the pair became close friends helping each other out with everything and anything, making sure that they were able to stay in one place for as long as possible. However that happiness was soon short lived. After only living in King County for just over two years the Lancaster family soon got wind that the town was going to be attacked, of course fearing for Isabelle they all packed up however they were unlucky failing to escape. The Lancaster family soon became one of the many families massacred that day in the town, however young Isabelle was hidden beneath the floors hearing the screams of her family.She knew all she could do was hide since that is what she was told to do.

It was after five hours of pure quietness that she finally heard someone calling her name, crying she covered her mouth hoping they wouldn't hear her but they did ripping the floor up it was Tyler her crush standing covered in blood. Isabelle fearing she crawled out of the floor and glanced around; her family lying on the ground murdered however her brother bodies were not there, asking Tyler to help her he agreed with no problem following the blood trail they soon found that Isabelle's brothers were not dead yet. This was when she knew she had to step up and show she could be a shifter, when or if her time came to be tapped she grabbed water wood and stones she could. Lashing out she began to use those few things as a weapon only to her surprise that she had managed to scare the people from her brothers, however one of her brothers later died after losing too much blood and Tyler knew they couldn't do anything now.

So after burying the rest of the family; Isabelle, Tyler and her brother Kaleb left King County not wishing to staying another moment, the three traveled the whole of America living on the back roads. This was the only way they knew they'd be able to live and keep undercover; however as they sat in a diner eating they noticed someone staring at them, beginning to fear the person soon said they wished the family no harm. Explaining to them about a City called Evermore in Colorado. The three looking confused at first but taking the information they thanked him and soon went on their way, deciding to risk it all they went to this Evermore City where it turned out that it was a city of the normal and the supernatural. This was when Kaleb got them a house and himself a job; quickly enrolling Tyler and Isabelle back into school they all soon began their lives over again, and pretended nothing had happened to them.

It was only after a few months of living in Evermore that the three soon met with the shifters, moving into their land as a family they soon began to settle in even more. Isabelle soon felt this stinging pain on her side only to notice a sun tattoo, unsure of how it got there she asked her brother who then told her she was being tapped by the shifters. This was when she knew that she needed to be more focused and after the years of living there Isabelle soon graduated, and even managed to land herself a spot in Evermore College. So she knew from there that her life was finally beginning to look up; however the horrible stresses soon hit her, fearing of what the shifter turning would be like she tried to find a way out of it.

But everyone knows you can't and it was obvious that no matter what she done there was no chance of her escaping her fate, and that was it on her eighteenth birthday as she was out on a normal walk like she would do the shifter soon began to tap her even more. Feeling the fear rush through her she screamed out for help, and who answered her that night was not only her brother but some of the shifter clan. Helping her to relax they soon helped her allow her shifter animal of choice melt into her, and that is what happened she turned into a fox a beautiful creature which some would think was an easy target but she wasn't she jumped around before she finally spotted herself in a puddle of water. Rushing and hiding behind her brother everyone laughed, it was obvious that this would need some work to help her realize it was who she was now. So that is what happened the shifters came together helping her how to bond with her shifter animal.

Once she had accepted that she continued on with her life and just lived happily. That was until the massacre rampaged through Evermore, claiming the lives of many people her first crush and best friend Tyler was one of the victims. Not dying on the scene he later died in hospital knowing that Isabelle loved him; but her heart mourned for him knowing he only wanted to live happily and end up doing something he liked in life, but that would never come true now he was gone and Isabelle had to accept that. Which she did she now living out on her own and remains close with her brother; but most of all she has not gotten a career as an author as well as a part time dance and singing teacher. Now all she looks forward to is what could possibly happy within the future for her.

She is now the second in command of the Moon shifters along side the leader of the sun shifters ( please read sun shifters for more.)
