The Base of The Mountains (Initia Territory)

It has been nearly a year since I had seen my older brother Tanner. I picked up my phone dialing his number in hopes, he would answer the call cause I hasn't spoken to him more than a hand full of times since our parents had passed away. I placed the phone up to my ear listening to it as it rang and rang, I let out a couple of deep breaths as she closes my eyes.

Things weren't always this complicated there was a time when we were all together back at home, being a normal family but since our parents were killed Zach and I spent most of our time apart trying to gather what was left of life. I groaned once I noticed that Zach might not answer his phone right now.

I leave a voicemail once it clicks over to Voicemail " Hey Tanner, it's your baby sis I was gonna see if you wanted to meet up, so give me a call back." So I hang up my phone and set it down on the computer table next to me as I go back to doodling in my notebook.

Tanner smiled as he walked up to his sisters door with a bundle of roses. " You have to make it all up to her." He whispered to himself and closed his eyes. Taking a deep breath he reached forward and knocked on the door.

It had been a year since he had seen her. He had fled the country when his parents died, did all the things he would have never done when they were alive. He experimented and found out he was Bi and didn't have a preference. He discovered that he had more control over his power.

Tanner sighed as he stared at the brown door. " Please don't hate me." He whispered as he knocked again and willed his sister to open the door.

I heard someone knocking at my door I let out a soft sigh as I open the door freezing once I see Tanner standing in my door I couldn't help but stare. " Tanner! " I blurted out before throwing my arms around his neck, I couldn't help it I have missed my brother more than anything in this world he was the only family I had left.

I moved to let him in as my lips spreads in to a huge smile " Come in Big brother." I close the door once my brother entered the house, I look over at the roses in T's hands. " Want something to drink? " It was so good to see my brother again, it felt like a piece of me began to heal a piece of my heart become whole some what again.

Tanner laughed as he carried her back into the house closing the door. He placed the flowers on the table and pulled his sister back into his arms. " No little one all I need if for you to hug me." He laughed looking at her smiling. He had missed her., he knew he should have called more but he didn't he didn't know if he could tell her everything that had happened. He sighed and closed his eyes as he held her in his arms vowing in that moment never to leave her side again " I'm sorry twin"he whispered.

I snuggled into my twins arms sighing softly cause it was the only way to keep me from crying. " I can defiantly keep the hugs coming. Where have you been? " I was worried about him, I mean after all he was my twin so I had a right to question him, didn't I?

I look over at him smiling softly " The roses are beautiful Tanner, Thank you."

" I've been around." Instinctively he shifted from his wounded leg and smiled. " Life is good now. I have you back."he laughed and pulled away from her for the first time truly looking at his sister. She was tall, long hair a nice smile. " Your hair grew"he whispered as he looked her over. " You look good."he laughed.

" Around?" I look my brother over once making sure he okay, I noticed his hurt leg. " What happened to your leg? I've been good, I've gone back to school I'm going to be a lawyer." I look at Tanner again trying to figure out where he has been.

" Tanner I really have missed you, and your my twin I just want to make sure your okay." I hang my head for a long moment before shaking my head as I move to find a vase for the roses.

Zach smiled and looked at her " Nothing passes you" he whispered laughing. He sat down and looked at her and let it all out. " Came back and was attacked. Poisoned Ice arrow and a bullet right to the leg. "He looked down at the floor and let the rest slip past his lips.

" I'm Bisexual. I don't have a preference but I am having a good time exploring" He smiled and looked down and closed his eyes. He sighed and waited for her to lose it. " Just know that I love you and I would accept every part of you." he said looking at her smiling.

" Well as long as your happy Tanner then that's all I care about, no matter what." I move to hug him as I kiss his head. " You're my brother I'll support you no matter what."
