INSTAR DIVINER

Bring on Summer! (Open to all Diviners and their guests!)

The sun was shining like it hadn't done in months. Spring was finally here, almost bordering on summer already. There wasn't a single cloud in the sky that morning and despite the still early hour, the sun was warm against the blonde womans skin. Exciting the kitchen from the double doors and stepping onto the patio, large cup of black coffee in hand, she surveyed the back acreage of the Diviner compound. The backyard was open, the property too large to fence but there was still structure to it. To the right there were pegs and bright orange flags marking the area where the new training building would go. A building that was magic-proof, and big enough for large groups of combat training was much needed. Turning her sapphire-hued gaze back to the house, she smirked dryly. The house was old but had had much upgrading done so it only showed it's historic roots from the outside. Inside it was quite modern, clean, and structurally sound as a house could be. But it was definitely not fit for combat or magic training, they needed a separate building for that.

With a sigh, the ambassador sat herself down at one of the comfortable seats that was set on the stone patio and gazed towards the trees and mountains in the distance as she slowly woke up. The massive backyard had the patio, where she was sitting, that had ample seating, and a nice outdoor kitchen and barbeque for cooking. Beams of solid wood covered the patio area and lights were strung between them, making evening outside very popular, especially for the Dark Diviners among the faction. There was a garden to the left of the house where vegetables and some fruits were grown, something to keep members entertained and then the rest of the space was covered in lush grass before the forest took over. There was a large firepit in the very middle, a massive pile of wood a palettes lay beside it in preparation for the celebrations that night.

Finishing her coffee, Aaliyah sat there for a few moments, enjoying the feeling of the sun on her skin and the silence. So much had been going on and she had been feeling.....too much over the past few weeks. One feeling that had been dominant, however, was the feeling of neglecting her people. She hadn't been neglecting the faction as a whole, but actually taking time away for her Diviners and spending time with them...well it hadn't been happening and this was all for them. Checking her watch, she let out a breath and slowly got to her feet. She needed to get the ball rolling. She had running around to do. Food and booze to go pick up, some more lights for outside, and she needed to find a decent sound system for outside so that there was music. Heading back into the kitchen, the blonde deposited her empty coffee cup in the dishwasher and straightened. "Okay. Lets start the day," she murmured.
