The River Banks (Instar Diviner Territory)

Magic Doesn't Solve Everything

Like usual, Malva finds herself cooped up inside her room all day. She was sure she was beginning to look like a cave person, she haven't come out of her room for days. 3 days to be precise. She has been working on her spell scrolls non stop, so it wasn't as shocking when she did not get any sleep. It wasn't like she would get one. Aureus has been treating her daily for the past few days after she explained her mental state to him. She would not be able to close her eyelids and sleep peacefully. She never had, but with the help of Aureus, she was able to sleep a few hours. Now, the situation seems to have change. Her nightmares were often, it usually consists of her past memories haunting her but now it was more of her fear foreseeing the destruction that would become of the world if such war occurred.

No one would want that, especially not the Ailwards. Her position at the general hospital of Evernore as the senior consultant made her more restless and exhausted than she usually was. Her eyes roamed wildly to the files scattering on both the marble floor and her desk. Some were piling up like a fortress shielding her. She glanced at the clock hung on the wall, it shows that it was 11:30 pm. She didn't realize it was already that late, what she knew was she had just started when she suddenly fell face first on the desk and slept throughout the day. Deciding it was time she went out of her room, she cleaned the mess she made before going into the bathroom to clean herself. Few minutes later, she was all freshen up and ready to get out of the miserable room and manor of theirs that seems to have been tired of her constantly throwing stuffs at the walls.

Malva can't blame them, because she's getting tired of her own self in the room. Curling her auburn hair and finally letting it go until it cascades down to her shoulders. She had made effort to cut it because last time it grew a bit longer than she wanted to. The blonde streaks were also visible, Tatiana made sure she got a new look to blend in. She didn't see the need of it but having such person as her personal guard is hard to resist the temptation the dhampir gives. The Russian born aspect slung the coat over her and made her way to the entrance gate before transforming into a dragon and flew away. Not before she made sure no guard was following her of course, Tati and Val was easy to persuade but the others had their strict orders. Too stiff. She landed in between the trees by the river bank which if she wasn't mistaken, is the Instar Diviner's territory. Reverting back to her human form, she clasped the amethyst pendant that hung low around her neckline and took a seat on the nearest boulder from the river. The Aspect of Magic took out her spell book, it was a medium sized journal but has unlimited pages. All the new and old spells she has constructed and documented. Even those still in process.

Flipping to a new page, the new spell she constructed 2 days ago. She decided to give a try on it. Closing her eyes shut she began mumbling the words an orb of energy starts to form.

Stephen had been teaching a few of the newer Diviners to focus and use their powers in the courtyard of the Coven house. He was becoming rather comfortable here and he found that he did actually enjoy helping others. That and he was trying to get in touch with the stranger lighter nature he supposedly had but he was thinking that didn't really exist. Of course trying to teach the younger Faes was a bit more of a challenge than he was used to keeping to his darker nature.

When the session was over he moved into the kitchen and grabbed a French-Press to make himself some coffee and warm up. While the water was heating in the kettle he stood in front of the large glass doors leading out onto the property. He was about to turn back towards the kettle on the stove when something in the distance caught his attention.
