Ballerine sat patiently at the den of the alpha. She had help getting here; her paw had been injured during training not long ago, and now she was waiting for the alpha to return to her. She checked the underside of her paw as she sat in the brittle grass. She had stopped bleeding, though the cut was still displeasing to look at. The temperatures of the land had dropped with the coming of winter, and the grass had lost its soft and dewy touch. The clearing was relatively clear of the fiery-colored leaves, as compared with the forest, though some leaves had managed to blow deep into the heart of the clearing with the wind.

Ballerine mused and wondered as to what Alpha Antiseptic wanted to talk about. Whatever it was, she was excited. She trusted him, and he seemed to be eager for this meeting. Ballerine knew that she was excited. She sniffed the air to see if Antiseptic was approaching.

Antiseptic held a bundle of nicely wrapped herbs in his mouth as he left the healers den and drama of Kess behind. His paws pounded the ground and his head was slightly lowered. He was tired, today was wearing him out completely. He shook his head and let his green eyes drift to the ground as he stepped upon a small hidden path that lead from the healers den to his den. He stood there for a second before quickly moving across the dirt and rocks mixed together. Once he made it to his den, he stood hidden near the side. He looked upon the small she-dog and he smiled weakly. She was smart enough and had proved herself worthy. Of course he would still train her some, but he knew what his plans were for her. He stepped from being hidden to being in her view. He set the bundle of herbs down and without speaking he tore it open and separated the herbs. He nudged a leaf-looking herb towards her before returning to sorting them out. "Eat that leaf, it may taste nasty but it will ease any pain you have." His voice was calm, tired and very gentle. He let his green eyes fix upon the she-dog before he took another herb and carefully chewed it in his mouth. He made a face with the taste it left but then reached out towards her paw with his head. He nudged her paw for her to lift it so he could put the herb spread on it. When she would do so, he would put the herb spread on her cut to help the healing quickly and then sit back with a warm smile upon his face and say... "So, I've brought you here today for a reason Ballerine."

(Guardian Ballerine, hmmm I wonder, I wonder... whatever is his reason...)
