Alexander woke up from his king size bed , raising up , as he started to rub his eyes with his hand before taking it away , and opening them , scanning his new bedroom. First night he managed to sleep in his new home , and he felt full of energy. He felt good. He looked over to the wall where a beautiful ancient wall clock stood , reading the time " 07:45" He mumbled to himself as he rolled out of bed , and started to stretch as he pressed a button on a remote that was sitting on the nightstand that started to open the curtains slowly , letting the sun fill the room, revealing the floor to ceiling glass windows.
Stretching some more , hearing a couple bones crack , he stopped stretching , making his way to the master bathroom , over to the sink , washing his face , then looking up in the mirror before him , running a hand through his hair."New day" he mumbled once again , and walked out of the bathroom , with a small towel in hand , washing his face clean , and walking over to the tall windows , opening the glass door and walking out on to the balcony.
Looking over the woods the back of his house was facing , he liked watching how calm and quiet it was , early in the morning , just birds flying like crazy in every direction. Something right then popped into his head. A jog. All alone , with the woods , no one to disturb him. It would have been perfect. Walking back into the bedroom , he moved towards the closet , and picking a pair of sport shorts along with a black tank top and a pair of sneakers. Getting all dressed up he got up from the side of the bed he was sitting at and looked over across the bedroom to the door , and then turned hi view towards the open glass door to the balcony.
With a slight smirk , he made a run for it , passing through the open door , across the balcony , and jumping off the edge , falling down a few feet , as he hit the ground , doing a quick roll to break the fall and then back on his feet , not stopping to look behind or anything , just continued to run , loosing himself through the thick woods.
He must have been running for miles now , yet he was barely showing any sign of tiredness. After a couple more miles , he decided to stop , catching his breath as he dropped on his ass on the ground , his back against a tree , just looking around.
The phoenix took a few steps into the room, brushing her ebony curls out of her eyes; the Phoenix then made her way towards the centre of the room as her brown hues loomed around the room getting a feel for the place. A smirk tugging at the corner of her lips, the phoenix turned on the heels of her boots, only to look over into the icy blue eyes of the Nepilim "I'm sure one drink won't hurt" the scoff left her lips as she watched him walk over to the couch. "Don't mind if I do" she murmurs out as she walked over to the coffee table, swiftly picking up the glass in hand, taking a seat and crossing her legs, raising her glass to her lips to take a long, slow sip of the fiery liquid.
She could feel the gaze of someone piercing through her, and with a quick twist of her head she met the gaze of the blue-eyed angel once more. Lowering the glass down resting it down on her bare leg, listening to him continuing on their discussion during their time they were on their way here. "I'll only say it once-but you are good in hand to hand combat but when it comes to an insane phoenix there a slight chance you may or 'may-not' be burnt alive by just being in sight range." The woman has been dealt by hand of an insane phoenix far too many times and she herself could be used as an example, she shocked her mind is still 'somewhat' intact after all this time. Listening to him speak of what had happen it pieced together pieces of what had happened during that time, nodding her head when it was reasonable before a chuckle fell passed her lips at the last part. "Well that one of the few things I can agree with you on there. But I can see your reason for killing him." She says as she took another sip of her drink.
Her smirk still spread across her exotic features, she found his amusing "A pirate?" a laughter fell passed her lips, before she pursed her lips "We're not that vacuous about what goes on in the world." She spoke out, with a slight huff, upon hearing what he said next she rose an eyebrow "Blackbeard... That sounds familiar." Her thoughts played around within her mind; trying to pull the strings at some of her older memories "Wait... I believe I remember hearing about him." What he had said next made the phoenix turn her head to the side, looking off those were things she asked herself the answer she had didn't make too much sense; but she mainly stayed due to the fact the Isle been her home for so long the guard/aspects were like family to her.
