A nice bike ride seemed to warm me up as I head home. I pull back the sleeve of my coat and look at my black watch. It's a fairly new watch I got the other day and it sure comes in handy when you have a sort of curfew.

Just down a little hill until I reach back at Hiroshi's and Violet's home. I went out for a bike ride for good three hours and it made time fly by quickly.

I dismantle off the bike and walk it up the driveway when I get there. I look up at the house as I breathe out a white mist from the cold air. I like winter a lot. What's good about it is that if you get cold you can put more clothes on but in summer when it gets too hot you can't really strip to nothing so then it gets expensive to put the air conditioner on.

I walk through the side gate once again and close it behind me. I like the sound of my boots treading in the snow. It's soft and squishy and makes a crunching sound. I put the bike away in the metal shed for it to sit there for however long it will be there for and I lock up. Looking across the yard I notice a faint white blur that has fallen from the sky. I look up at the light grey clouds as these snowflakes fall in slow motion. I slip off one of my red knitted gloves and hold my hand out to catch one frozen droplet. Looking at it from a little distance it doesn't look like much but if you had a magnifying glass then you can see the frozen patterns that make it look a bit like the shape of a star.

I smile slightly to myself wondering just how a cloud up above could make these snowflakes. I watch as the snowflake melts into nothing then looking up at the back porch I see Violet there in her lovely new light blue dress that reaches the ground that she bought the other day. She wears a soft tender smile on her glossy lips and her hair braided from one side to the other then the end resting on her shoulder. I smile softly as I approach her to head inside. She opens the door for me and pats my head gently giving a warm kiss on my forehead as I walk inside with her.

I never really used to let Violet be a mother to me but now it's nice to have her take care of me which should have happened years ago. Soon enough though a little bird has to leave the nest and spread its wings and fly off into the big world of adulthood.

"Shiro dear, why not go check if you have everything and bring your suitcase down so Hiroshi can put the rest of our bags into the car. Thank you." I nod and hurry to my room. I stop and look up. My eyes widen then this goofy bright smile whips up on my face.

"I said I would come before you left didn't I?" Akatsuki chuckles as he walks over to me and wraps his arms around my waist and kisses me with all his passion. I tilt my head up and return the kiss. Akatsuki always makes me happy whenever I see him and whenever we hug he brings back all of the warmth that had left me. I'll never get tired of him.

"Are you staying for dinner?" I ask as we pause from kissing. His large framed body seems to envelop me and make me feel safe and secure. I'll never doubt him as Akatsuki has been honest with everything from the start. This man knows me better than anyone else and I wouldn't want it any other way.

"Yes, I've spoken with Mr and Mrs Amari about it." He smiles as he pecks my lips again.

"Mm Akatsuki you don't have to call them Mr and Mrs Amari. Hiroshi did say you can call him Hiroshi and Violet would say the same."
