Making Love

Laurel's POV

It's about that time. 5:30pm has rolled around and I'm at Melony's house in her garage, trying to choose which car I'm going to leave in.

''Which one do you want?" Melony asks, pure excitement in her voice and posture.

"It doesn't matter to me. I just need something that runs." I say, "Which apparently is all of these because they look brand-spanking new! Are you sure it's okay if I take one of these cars?"

"Yeah, I'm positive. My parents let me drive these cars whenever I want."

"You not me."

"Same difference." Melony shrugs. "Now pick one."

I glance over my choices. There are 3 cars in this 6-car parking garage. The one closest to the door leading to the house is a 2016 Candy Apple Red Chevrolet Camaro. The one next to it is a 2016 Dark Blue Toyota Prius and the last one is a 2016 Pearl White Ford Mustang.

"Which one is more race-car like?" I ask.

"The Mustang." Melony answers.

"So I definitely don't want that one." I decide.

"You're no fun." Melony pouts.

"Maybe not, but I don't want to nudge the gas pedal and it lunge to 90 miles an hour. I think I'll just go with the Prius."

"Whatever suits you." Melony shakes her head, turning to the garage wall and grabbing a pair of keys.

She throws them in my direction and I catch them easily.

"Have fun tonight." she tells me as she pulls me into a hug.

"You too." I say, squeezing her around her waist.

"You know I will." she smiles deviously.

"Oh that poor woman. She has no idea what she's in for." I joke, pulling my overnight duffel over my shoulder as I walk to the Prius.

"She really doesn't." Melony grins.

"Play nice." I say, stepping into the car. "Don't do anything I wouldn't do."

"I don't think I can do that." Melony teases, pressing a button that opens the garage door.

"Just be safe, okay. I don't want have to send out a search party for you." I say, glaring at her.

"You won't!" she insists, "Just go and have fun. Tell Julia I said hi by the way."

"Will do!" I call as I put the car in reverse and swerve down the street.

I get to the stop sign of the neighborhood and I put Julia's address in my phone. I still have it from a few nights ago when I was suppose to go see her after I went jogging. My GPS give me a route and I follow it. Fifteen minutes later, I pull up to the house my phone led me to. Suddenly, I start feeling really strange, nervous almost. Why are you acting like this? I ask myself. Pull yourself together, she's inside waiting for you. With that thought in mind, I'm able to calm my breathing that's near hyperventilation. I pull myself together and get out the car, bag in tow. I take a deep breath before knocking on the door and a few seconds later it's opened.

There she is. Dressed in a light pink tank top and white sweat pants. I've never seen her dressed so casually, so relax. It seems to make her more beautiful, and sexier.
