*three weeks later*
It's been three weeks since George and the guys had left for tour and although his life became pretty crazy he still managed to find time to call or get on Skype with Riley. They both equally missed each other and George made sure to tell her that he loves her and that he'll see her soon. She would sometimes ask him random questions about the tour, where George was, and why her and Devin weren't with him on tour. Devin would then have to explain to Riley that they had stayed behind because of her school. It never bothered Devin to re-explain things to her mainly because going on tour really seemed to motivate Riley to go to school and stay on her best behavior.
After a while Devin began to struggle to keep up with the bills and finding a third job. Sure Abby was trying her best to help out but she could only do so much with her own part time job and a non paid tattoo internship. Both her and Abby were stressing over the whole situation and were highly concerned that they wouldn't be able to pay the upcoming bills on time. For the longest time Abby had tried to convince Devin to talk to George about this, but Devin didn't want to bother him while he was on tour. Abby argued that if she told him then maybe he could at least help a little bit until they got things under control. Think about Riley, do you want to end up on the streets? Abby had told her on Monday night. This had put things into a whole new perspective for Devin, which led up to a rather long conversation with George over the phone later on that week while Abby had took Riley out to dinner.
George listened to her explain her current situation while he laid in his bunk, he could hear the stress and worry that consumed Devin's voice. He was almost certain that she was trying to prevent herself from crying, he didn't ask her so he continued to listen. When she finally paused, he told her to take a deep breath and to try and relax. She did as he said and took three deep breaths until she was a little less panicky. Once she had calmed down he told her that she should just come out on tour with him and the guys. He told her that he would pay for the plane ticket to get them out to where they were and he would give Devin some money to help pay the bills so that when she got home she wouldn't have to worry too much. This helped Devin relax a lot and she was finally able to focus on what she needed to do.
It was now October 31st and Devin was helping Riley get dressed up in her costume, she had chosen to dress up as her daddy and was very excited about it. Typically whenever Halloween came around Devin would go all out with decorations and costumes, her and Riley would wear matching costumes and go to Devin's parents house for the night and watch movies after going around trick or treating. But this year they were in California and Devin still didn't know the neighborhood too well so she didn't plan on taking Riley out this year. But about five days ago Terry Ragan had called asking if they wanted company while they were out, Devin didn't hesitate to say yes.
Around seven o'clock Riley was ready to go, as was Devin. She had decided to match Riley but instead of dressing up as George she ended up dressing up as Jordon instead. Devin sat on the couch watching Riley walk around the room trying to act like a gangster when her phone began going off with an irritating sound affect. She picked up her phone and accepted the call right away, George appeared on the screen with some of the guys behind him.
"Happy Halloween!!" The guys yelled at once, Devin smiled and waved at them.
"Happy Halloween Devin." George said calmly.
"Same to you guys." She said with a laugh.
"Are you dressed up as Jordon?" George asked with a raised brow. She blushed underneath her bandanna.
"I have a reason for that!" She said quickly. "Riley come here and show daddy your costume."
Riley ran over to the couch and squeezed into the frame with Devin. She waved frantically at George and began to show off her costume.
