George had invited the guys of Slipknot back to their bus, so it was extra crowded. Devin was squished between Abby and Jordon on one of the couches. Jordon was texting someone on his phone, it was more than likely Kristine. Everyone else was sitting around drinking and talking about the show.

"Mommy, I thirsty." Riley said as she pushed her way past Joey, he smiled down at her and stepped out of her way.

"Do you want apple juice?" Riley nodded her head in response.

Devin got up from the couch and squeezed her way over to the fridge. She grabbed the sippy cup and unscrewed the lid, then poured some juice into the cup.

"Thank you momma."

"You're welcome sweetie." Devin replied, screwing on the lid.

"Hey, could I talk to you for a moment?" Paul asked as he slid into the booth.

Devin smiled back at him and slid into the booth on the opposite side of him.

"What's up?"

"I wanted to ask you a couple questions about Riley."

"Oh uhm... Okay." She smiled awkwardly and glanced down at her hands.

He nodded his head then glanced back at Riley. She was holding her sippy cup and talking with Mick and Corey, both men were smiling and listening intently to what she had to say. When he looked back at Devin she noticed some type of deep pain in his eyes, kind of like a longing almost.

"Are you okay Paul?" She asked, worry filled her voice.

"Honestly?"

Devin nodded her head in reply, he let out a deep sigh and shook his head.

"What's wrong?"

"I feel like my life is... I don't know empty." He said with a shrug. "Brenna wants to have a kid and I want to as well but-"

"You're nervous?"

"Yeah, I've never had a kid before so I don't know what to expect."

This made Devin smile. She liked that Paul wanted to know more about being a parent before actually committing. In her mind she thought that he had great potential to be a good father. Paul was a sweet guy and she had always looked up to him ever since first discovering Slipknot.

"Honestly it's a great experience, being a parent that is. Of course it has it's ups and downs, and sometimes it's really stressful but it's all worth it in the end. Just to watch your child grow up and have them look up to you is the best feeling you could ever have."

Paul began to speak but then quickly closed his mouth and sat back in the seat. He thought fora minuet on what to say next.

"So how did you prepare yourself for when she was going to be born?"

Now it was Devin's turn to think about her answer. Finally after a moments thought she had an answer.

"Well I really had a lot of help from my family, I mean George wasn't around so they were my biggest support system." She paused to look over at George. He turned and smiled back at her. "Abby really helped by saving up money so I could get things for Riley and I worked my ass off to support the two of us."

"Hey," George moved past Jorel and slid in beside Devin. "What are you guys talking about?"

Devin looked to Paul to see if it was okay to tell George, he gave a slight nod.
