Part16: Confrontation

AC's POV

Absolutely my whole day turn out to be so well..

Our class dismissed an hour earlier, but we decided to go home.

Lucky and I is standing across the street waiting for a cab to ride us home when a unfamiliar car stop in front of us.

The driver's door open and reveal a guy who is wearing a hood and colored sun glasses. He is coming towards us, thinking he has bad intention, Lucky automatically move me into his back.

I smile of the thought of how protective he is.

The guy stand beside Lucky, but to our surprise he face me and remove his sun glasses.

"Oh! Brace! it's you pela! I exclaimed as I know him.

Lucky's POV

What is he doing here again??!!! I asked that at the back of my mind

"I supposed to pitch my sister, but she's gone home already, and I saw you guys here standing" I heard Brace saying that to AC.

"Yeah, we're heading home, we're only waiting for a cab" AC answered Brace

I am currently praying for a vacant cab to stop infront, because I feel like dragging AC and send here home! I don't like seeing her keep on talking to that guy!! But unfortunately all the cabs that is passing is occupied!! It adds my temper!! nekakaeynis!!

"Ah! is that so?, I think it's still early to go home, would you mind if I invite you guys for a snack, you know I really wanted us to become friends" He said while almost in begging face!

"Tsss!! pity effect huh!" then it was me who answered

"I'm sorry dude, but we need to go home early, we already inform our parents that we're on our way" I told him lifelessly for him to feel that I dont like him near us! or near AC!!

"Ahm, Lucky maybe we can have a few minutes for a snack, Im also feeling hungry already" AC told me in her most wonderful assest! Her begging eyes! how could I refuse her??!!

" Yeah! dude promise we won't take long and I'll drive you guys home " he seconded

So it's me the antagonist here!!

"K" I responded shortly to make the convo over!

"Okay! let's go then! AC said happily

"Tsss!! if she just told me earlier that she's hungry I can buy her everything she like! We don't have to be with him!

AC's POV

I am setting in the passenger seat beside Brace who is driving. Lucky is setting on our back and busy with his phone. I notice the sudden change of his mood.

"AC, where do you like to eat?, Brace ask me while driving

"Lucky and I love MC DO, so it will do for us, but I guess it won't do for you, there are lots of customer there and you might be known by them, magkekegulow pah!" I answered smiling while imagining Brace will be sorounded by fans and stuck in the center of the crowd!

Brace smiled at me and said" How considerate of you"

I smiled him back too.

"Ganito nalang, we'll just take the food out and maybe we could hang out somewhere" Brace added

"That's fine with me, how about you Lucky??"

Lucky's POV

"Lucky??" I heard AC called me so I look her up

"Yeah! what is that?" I asked her

"Brace said we'll just take the food out and hang out somewhere else, is it okay with you"? she said

"K" I responds to her and start scanning my phone again.

"Hey! your not in a mood again?" he ask me maybe pertaining to my answered that seems uninterested.

"Nah! don't mind me, I'm good" I told her to dissmiss the topic.

She frown at me but not saying anything more.

After a while the car stop near in a food chain.

"Since im the only girl here, I will be incharge of buying our foods" she said voluntarily while unhooking her seatbelt.

"I'll go with you", I hurriedly told her

"No,no! you stay here, you accompanied Brace, you can have a little chitchat, you know boys talk, I won't be long," she said and hurriedly went outside the car and run towards the fast food chain.

I wanna protest, but it just stuck in my throat!!

Great! I'm left with him!! Maybe it's not necessary for me to keep him intertain since it's not my will to go with him.

So while waiting AC I get my phone again, insert my headset and plug into my ears!

Brace POV

I saw AC went inside through the glass door of the food chain. I turn my head to Lucky and saw he's on headset.

I already notice he's not comfortable with my presence. So I'm trying to reach him out for a little convo.

"Hey! Lucky" I called him in a bit louder tune so he will hear me.

He turn on my side with his Poker Face.

"Yeah?" he responded and plug out his headset on his ears.

"You don't like me don't you?" I ask him frankly because thats what I really felt since that day AC introduce us. I could feel towards his treatment on me!

Lucky's POV

" You don't like me don't you? he suddenly ask me without hesitation

Such a frank!

So he's aware huh?! good thing then, I don't have to be nice at all.

"What is it to you then, does it count?" I answered him in equal frank

"Yeah, it is, because I guess I like AC..a lot" he responded straight forward!

" I like her, since the day we bump into each other" he continously said

I look straight into his eyes, trying to find for a sign that his only joking!

"I'm serious!" he added

I didn't utter any word, because I couldn't find the right one enough to shut him up!! I feel my blood reaches it boiling point!

"How could you say it through my face?! I told him bluntly

"Because I know you like her too" he answered with finality

I was astonished for a moment of what he said, how did he know,??!! I'm sure Dhoa didn't post it in his Fb wall, or else he'll be dead!

"See?! your obvious dude, I'm just observing you since then, and I'm not ignorant with your behavior towards me, your Jelous"!

I was taken aback again, but I guess there's no need of denying it at all.

"You really wanted to know the answer!?!, Yes, I don't like you near AC! and No! definitely I'm not jelous! You know why? because AC would choose me if ever he'll be choosing between me and you?!" I told him like telling him not to pursue his plan.

He just give me smirk" You wait and see, I'll put up a good fight dude!" We're just getting started, you maybe that close! but only because AC think you're Bestfreind!, what if she will know your feelings?, will she'll be glad or she'll distance herself away from you?!" he told me like knocking those hurtful reality straight to my face

When I'm about to responds him, we heard a sounding knocking on the car's door. It's AC, bringing a paper bag of foods.

Before Brace open the door, he look at me through the review mirror and give me a smirk one more!
