Part 55: Save her

AC's POV

"Okay everyone..last set na" our band leader told us. I positioned myself again in the microphone and we do the last set. Right after that, I hurriedly excused myself and run towards the school garden. Lucky is waiting for me. I'm almost near when I saw  Margareth coming to my way..twice in a row.. Tsk! not good.

She smirked at me and smiled evily.

"Tsk Tsk..poor of you AC..the next time I'll see you..you're crying a river"

"Your insane!"

"Haha..yeah..and by the next day..you'll too" She then walked away.

Margareth and her insanity!! I dismiss her in my mind and continue walking towards Lucky.

I saw him setting in one of the benches, his staring nothing in particular. He seems spacing out. I approached him.

"Hey Lucky koh..common let's go"

Instead of answering, he only stares at me and seems studying my face. He was a bit odd. He didn't talk and let go of a long sigh.

"Are you okay? something wrong?"

Still, he didn't responds. I touched him but he shove his self away from my touch. He seems disgusted of my touch.

"Hey, what happened, you make me worried"

He then sigh again..something might went wrong. I remember what Margareth said earlier..if she has to do something with this..I swear..kekelbuhin koh telagah siya!

Suddenly he stood up.

"Let's go home" and walked..he don't hold my hands the way he used to, he didn't even wait for me.

"Hey Lucky wait" I run after him, when I'm already walking by his side I ask him again.

"What's wrong bah Lucky?, common tell me, I don't like this..I feel something wasn't going right"

Again he just stared at me and looked away. He seems disgusted or dissaponted..what??!!

"No..nothing..just that something came up today"

"What is it?"

"Nothing really important" he then continue walking.

"Nothing important??, and your like this?"

"Don't mind me okay?..It's nothing"

"Maybe I can be of help"

"There's nothing you can help with this" he said in a high pitch tune.

I was stunned.. It hurts me..I feel being useless of whatever problem he might have right now. I keep silence and just continue walking. When we're inside the cab he talked then.

"I'm sorry..I didn't mean that way..it's just that I'm exhausted"

I stared at him. Yeah..he seems exhausted..but for what?..we don't have so much activities this morning because the teachers are working their ass double time for the Anniversary Party and we don't have class this afternoon. So I am really wondering, but I dismiss the thought, he maybe into something.

"Yeah..no worries..I'm okay"

He touches my face.

"Remember this AC..I love you..and I always will"

"Hey..why it sounded like a good bye to me?"

He just smiled at me and kisses my forehead.
