Part 30: Walked Away

Lucky's POV

I think I already saw the most painful part of breaking up. Seeing them walking away together as their back are slowly fading on your sight makes you wanna shout! and punch everyone!!

My eyes started to water but I didn't let go of the tears. I throw my head back and look up. Bekit ang sekit?! For how many times she has to stab my heart?!" I reach for a chair to hold. For how long I can indure the pain, only God knows.

I slowly move out in our room and begun to walk in the hall way. It seem I'm carrying all the problems in the world that has no solution. I didn't mind the girls who are saying "Hi" to me along the way.

Just as I'm about to turn, I saw Margareth and her friends fast approaching in my direction, wearing their cheerdance uniform. I guess they have a performance on Friday.

"Hey bic-boi, walking so fast eh" Margareth said while her two alipores stand by at both of her side.

"I'm not in a mood to have a conversation with you, spare that next time"

"Why so rude Lucky?" You know what I like you more because of that"

"Tsss! whatever, can you just excuse me, I'll be going"

"Not so fast bic-boi"

"What do you want?"

"Be my escort on the Foundation Ball"

"Are you pulling a joke here? Why should I?"

"You have to, because I say so" she said smilling to ear.

"You choose between a Yes and a Yes" she added, and again caressing my earlobe with her fingers that bring shiver down my spine. That gross!

I look at her closely for the first time, yeah! She's beautiful, she's sexy and the lots. I wanted to forget the pains I'm feeling right now, maybe she could do a remedy. Well, not bad, If she's my partner.

I pull myself and took a deep breath. This will be a hard show.

"Alright, I'll escort you then" I finally said

I saw her eyes almost jump out in the socket. Is it really surprising that left her mouth hang in the air?!

Her friends are freezing too!

"Oh gosh! Really?! Good choice bic-boi, I'll just see you around then" she walk away like a model in a run way but she still manage to blow me a kiss.

Maybe I will just begin to see other girl from now on, so this aches won't kill me slowly.

But then again, there's no one like here.

I begun to feel the familiar pain inside my chest again.

AC's POV

I move out in the car immediately as soon as we reach home.

"Brace thank you for driving me home"

"Yeah, no worries it's my pleasure, so tomorrow again?"

"Ahm..maybe I'll just text you, is that okay?"

"Yeah sure, anyway, I'll go ahead"

"Wouldn't you like to come inside and have a glass of juice?"

"I'm glad to, but my sister text me our parents is in my pad, so I guess I'll just have it next time."

"Sure, you drive safe okay, bye"

After seeing Brace car drive away, I walk inside the house and saw my dad in the living room.

"Hey dad" I kiss dad cheeks and seat beside him.

"Si Brace ba yun naghatid sayo?

"Yes dad, but he's in a hurry, so he didn't come in"

"Ganun bah, ikaw kumusta ka?"

"I'm fine dad, we had a busy day at school"

"Eh si Brace, anung plano mo?"

There goes with that question again, I guess I need to decide with this a little sooner.

"Ahm..he's nice dad and all, but I'm still weighing my feelings, I don't wanna in a rush"

Dad embrace me with his one arm and caresses my hair.

"You grewn up so fast that I didn't barely notice, sooner you'll have a boyfriend and get married and live your own"

"Dad, that will be long, I will gonna enjoy my teenage life"

"Yeah, you should, don't miss it anak, or else you'll regret it"

Then Mom walks in from the kitchen.

"Hey, what's with all this drama?" Mom said while smilling wide. Dad open his right arm to welcomed Mom for a hug.

"My girls" Dad said lovingly while resting his cheeks to mom's head.

"Our boy" as me and Mom both said in sync.

Then came Ace rushing, and throw his self to us.

What a great family I have.
